Highlights This Week

This week we’re counting down the sleeps until Lee Petra Grebenau’s incredible collection (above) arrives on Australian shores for her (LANE hosted) Sydney Trunk show, just around the corner in April. Expect ethereal silhouettes and otherworldly embellishment, particularly stunning for an oceanic setting. And for a continuation of theme, consider beautiful inky, hand penned stationery. We love the flashes of gold offset with midnight blues in this suite by Hello, Bird (below). Also, for Sydney based brides in the throes of planning, we welcomed celebrant Thomas J Lahoud to our community of hand picked favourites, you can read more about him here.

We’re coveting the entire collection of carefully curated pieces, carried by online mecca The Dark Horse Jewelry. Think Luv Aj (above), Au Revoire Les Filles, House of Harlow and Natalie Marie to name but a few. All your bridesmaids gifts organised with one click!

Photography luminaries Forged in the North transported us recently with these hauntingly beautiful dreamscapes (above). Epic, cinematic captures that transcend traditional ideas of a ‘wedding portrait’.

Jumping between the Northern and Southern hemispheres, we’re pretty sure it’s 5pm somewhere, opening a favourite Hither & Yon Cabernet Sauvignon (all sweet purple fruits and chocolatey hints, mmm). We’re also obsessing over some dramatic jewels, the contemporary layering of gold by AU Rate New York…and this magnificent design by Mania Mania (below).

In the midst of planning several Bachelorette weekends away, we’re perusing the beautiful silk options by both Natalija The Label (above) and Aquarelle Maison. Stunning gifts for your wing-women, and seductive, keep-forever pieces for yourself, perfect for photogenic preparations on the day...and for swanning around a stunning hotel room. We’re reminiscing over our stay at Brooklyn's Wythe, and that particularly memorable meal at Reynard (pictured below).

Lastly, we’re musing over whether you can have ‘too many’ of these delicate and divine rings by Lucy & Mui (below). Featuring a tiny baguette diamond set in a yellow, rose or white gold band, we've decided we need at least one of each!
