This week we reflect on the perfection of Courtney Ilfield’s striking photography (above), a master of quiet intimacy and poignant storytelling, through the lens. Not content with nailing portraiture, this multifaceted creative, also launched her own bridal label recently, Lola Varma (pictured below). Think luxe fabrics and effortless cuts for an uncomplicated take on modern beauty.
Diving through the work by Rose Apple Flowers (pictured above), we’re dreaming of romantic Spring weddings, spilling with wildly composed, fragrant blooms.
Fine jewelry favourite Natalie Marie has wowed us once again with her new bespoke offer of striking rings. Wear clustered (as below) or singularly, for equal statement
New York based Alexandra Grecco continually surprises us with her unexpected palette of pastel tints and soft dusky hues. This gown (below) one of our favourites, offers a cascade of botanicals down a daring silhouette. Femininity personified.
We’re envisaging the perfect coupling of a delicate gilded crown (this heirloom inspired piece by Naturae Design, above) with Jenny Packhams’s ethereal mid-summer nights dream inspired Spring 2016 Collection (pictured below). Melbourne brides, be sure to make an appointment at Le Louvre for access to these spectacular gowns (& an incredible edit of bridal by designers like Marchesa and Lanvin).
As we head into a southern hemisphere Winter, we’re dreaming of long hot baths and the softly spoken luxury of Loom towels, tasselled bohemian perfection (above).
Our minds drift back to Summer celebrations at Contemporary Hotels’ Palm Beach property we were lucky enough to call home for a few days earlier this year, waking up to this ocean view (below).
And for some all out escapism, we’re plotting a trip to Fiji’s Dolphin Island (the stuff of Robinson Crusoe tropical island fantasies), whilst booking in a mid-winter break closer to home, at New Zealand’s unbelievably luxe and tranquil Huka Lodge. Did someone say giant bathtub and a glass of red wine?
