Paired with our exceptional service, guests can enjoy three distinct spaces within the venue: a covered atrium, an elegant cocktail lounge, and a light-filled reception hall. Locally-sourced design elements include Modo chandeliers by Jason Miller, customized Flavor Paper wallpaper, and a vaulted skylight that runs the length of the main gathering space. These elements come together to reflect the best of old and new Brooklyn: industrial chic with a touch of modern glamour. Our mission is simple: bring people together to celebrate love... and to have a good time while doing it.

What rooms/spaces do you have available for a wedding?

Guests arrive to the lounge with styled seating, a bar, coat check, and washroom. They are invited to the covered green atrium for ceremony/cocktail hour. Reception is held in the main space featuring a glass roof, full bar and access to the seven washrooms and private suite.

How many people can each of these cater for?

Fully-seated Wedding ceremony: 144 in the covered atrium; or up to 250 in main space, depending on furniture.

Fully seated-dinner with dance floor: 140-160 depending on furniture & layout choices.

Cocktail party: 200-250 depending on limited seating, stage, and dance floor layout.

Standing-room only or conference events: 299 (maximum legal capacity).

Do you offer onsite accommodation?

There is a private suite to get ready and local hotels we recommend.

What additional features and facilities does your venue offer that couples may find useful?

501 Union provides bar packages, in-house table and chair rentals and basic audio visual needs.
