About Lelia Scarfiotti

I am always looking for raw emotions, true magic and the moments in between. Be sure that I will take you out there, for an adventure…just to be in the wild whatever the weather is. I wish I was a poet…but I’ve never been good with words. Photography it’s the only language I know, the way I see the world and all the small things that make every day so incredible.

Behind The Brand

How would you describe your photography style?

Natural, organic, imperfect (as life) with an artistic twist.

What is it that makes an image magical?

The emotions of the people you capture and your emotions, your point of view while capturing that moment. I always put myself, my story and my vision into my images – I believe that is what will make them different from other photographers work.

What advice would you give to the camera-shy couple?

I would advise them to try and have as much fun as they can and not to think too much of how they will look in the pictures.

I will always try to guide them – so they don’t feel uncomfortable and I try to be very fast during the couple session so they can enjoy the party with family and friends.

Do you travel interstate or internationally?

I do travel, but will take only a few weddings outside Tuscany per season.

As an estimate, how long does your editing process take?

It depends on the wedding! Normally I would say 3/4 full days of work it’s the minimum for the selection and the editing.

Describe a magical moment from a wedding you’ve photographed…

It was a wedding in Tuscany, 4 years ago.  It was small and intimate. The bride walked down the aisle barefoot and smiled the whole day.

At the end of the day her husband went onstage and dedicated a song to her, “Be Mine” by David Gray.  I still have the shivers when I think about it. It was just so incredible and magic.
