A Champagne gown adorned all over with sequins juxtaposed with sheer tulle sleeves and a bodice revealing a bare midriff, an effortless wide leg white romper, corded lace embroidered separates and flowing skirts with statement cascading trains – if there was ever the perfect collection for The LANE Bride this could very well be it.
Creating for the woman who wants to get married in something “simple, sexy and timeless” and pushing the boundaries on traditional bridal looks, designer Katharine Polk with the recent Houghton Bride Fall Winter 2014 collection, had us dreaming of regal city rendezvous. Gowns featuring dramatic silhouettes and peek a boo detailing made from extraordinary laces and finished with hand sewn embroideries, appliques and beadwork seamlessly blended old and new glamour. The collection daringly fashion-forward, whilst exuding regal opulence. Perfection for the stylish bride looking for a completely unique gown.
While an ombre pink cascading train may be too on trend for some, you’ll love it if you want to infuse some subtle colour into your bridal look. Chic gowns featuring clean narrow lines, sleeves and French needle work stood out as refined pieces for a classic bridal aesthetic.
The only disappointment for us was the edit of gowns was too tight. We want to see more of this magic!
