Celestial Clusters
Celestial Clusters

Stacks built around diamonds, eternity bands and the organic beauty of raw forms….small, gleaming clusters arranged like a constellation of stars…we are intoxicated by the poetry and symbolism of celestially inspired rings - of constellations being the compass of the heart and the guiding light of, and to, your love.

Masters of the ring stack, of the beautiful arrangement of bands to mark both devotion and occasion, we asked the experts from Esqueleto for their guidance and take of creating the perfect celestial inspired cluster.

What elements do you look for when putting together a set of rings or fine bands as a cluster? For the celestial inclined bride, how can she weave this (as a theme) into her stack?

Stacking is about creating a balance between textures, materials, and styles. What better place to draw inspiration than the skies above? Bands of shimmering gold accented with twinkling bright stones, or a crescent moon shaped band hugging a shining diamond star, the celestially inclined bride need only gaze as far as her finger to find a constellation of precious gems. Each layer harkens back to the heavens: pave diamonds evoke the starry night sky, a stone with a hint of iridescence, like the mystical moonstone, or a smoky gray diamond, will radiate with ethereal energy.

Guide continues below...

How would you suggest a bride draw meaning into any choice of inclusion? How would she personalise and direct this when building her set?

In marriage, the ring is a symbol of infinite love. Still, each love is different as is each woman’s stack. Some partners are like loyal best friends, floating along on a breeze. Others clash and spark like gorgeous lightening, awing all those who see. Let your stack symbolize your love. A deep, inky sapphire can evoke the midnight sky that stood above you as you had your first kiss. Wear a lively rose-cute diamond set in 18k yellow gold to remember a bright and sunny outdoor date. Hail dawn’s softest pink, the way the sky looked at the proposal, with a satin rose gold band and a champagne diamond. Sprinkle your stack with rubies and cognac to imbue it with the fire of the tropical sunset from your honeymoon.

Part of the beauty of a stack is that you can add to it over time, you can mark each occasion with a new addition to your suite. Tell us about the romance and symbolism of each band in a cluster as both a marker of time and memento of experience?

Every year, as the earth turns, the stars shift, the rain visits or the sun is king, your love and relationship changes and grows. Add a new ring to your stack to signify these heavenly moments, a totem to make sure you never forget: how you felt when you had your first baby, were promoted at work, achieved 10 years of marriage, or whatever event in your life means the most to you.
