The Romance of Ritual
The Romance of Ritual

There’s a freedom and spirit of individuality to marriage these days that resonates deeply with who we are. A myriad of ways we can make it our own, from wildly romantic elopements in far-flung destinations, lavishly planned celebrations, spiritually imbued ceremonies or those that honour religion. As non-conformists, we revel in the freedom to choose personal resonance, over tradition. We hold the belief that it matters not how that marriage takes place - whether it’s formalised legally, or by a simple promise between two lovers that is just as binding. For us, it’s the ritual of ceremony that holds a profound beauty and deeper importance.

The power of a ceremony to bind two people lies in the intention behind it, and the symbolic details that solidify that promise; words carefully chosen, eyes that speak a language only two can understand, hands that intertwine two souls, precious metals in circular, infinite shapes that say forever, purposefully placed on left fingers - veins that lead directly to the heart.

There’s freedom in not allowing ourselves to be consumed by the complex task of planning a wedding, pressured by the intricate details. In stripping everything back to focus on the simple beauty imbued in the act of ritual. In partnership with Tiffany & Co, we’ve selected some of our favorite engagement jewels; tangible symbols of promise. Blank canvases from which to create rituals of our own…
