We love innovative catering that weaves through time and tales; bespoke creations that tell stories of romance and rendezvous. Chronicled sequentially over courses, tailored menus guide your guests on an enticing, personal journey from appetizer to dessert.
Pioneering bespoke cooking and culinary arts, be inspired by the likes of LANE favourite Aaron Teece (Studio Neon), and collaborate with chefs to create dishes that are unique to your story. Reinvent the first meal you shared or include flavors tasted on journeys abroad. Incorporate favorite foods or uncover tastes from your past.
As told to us by Aaron, we love the story of two strangers who met in an underground bar in downtown New York, a 1920’s-themed establishment infused with old-world grandeur and contemporary opulence. Years after this fortuitous meeting, the couple married, their menu a culinary interpretation of their story.
Studio Neon designed dishes reminiscent of that first night in New York. Think refreshed interpretations of 1920’s classics; deconstructed prawn cocktails, truffled cheese, and maple-infused bacon “soil”. Dishes were served with era-appropriate cocktails; Moscow Mules, Gin Martinis and the classic Old Fashioned, spilling with smoke.

This kind of boutique menu customization is more attainable than many realize, with many caterers able to produce incredible dishes that fit within budgets and indulge specific desires and tastes. Studio Neon work with their clients to create moodboards inspired by personality, wedding theme and personal style. Think color charts and texture swatches, a cumulative project of your favorite things. After understanding the price point and specialized requests of each couple, a bespoke menu is produced, often using locally grown seasonal produce. Expect a holistic experience, with considered wine pairings, cocktail choices and cake options. This is an experiential affair, an extension of the self that permeates through taste, smell and sight.
For a union of free spirits, we suggest the customization of equally bohemian dishes. Capture your story with creamed stinging nettle and pickled herring, fennel-smoked mackerel and shiitake tartare. Think foraged treats and earthen flavors, an organic encapsulation of interconnectedness with the land. For couples who align with the ocean, opt for a menu sourced from the sea. Think plates of citrus-cured salmon, brushed with seaweed butter and paired with squid-ink crisps. If inspired by architectural structures and chic décor, look to classic flavors with unexpected twists. Serve mains of duck confit, grilled cucumber and mustard alongside desserts of artichoke ice cream and hibiscus curd.
