Inspired by our latest LANE editorial Pushing Back The Dawn, we were enchanted by the idea of an oceanic table befitting an ethereal salt swept ceremony…the type of intimate shoreline reception we envisaged for this bride following her mystical seaside vows.
Drawing on our endless love and affinity with the ocean, a fascination with crystalline clusters evocative of coral formations and otherworldly underwater kingdoms…a seaside setting infused with marine decadence and patinas of tumbled glass with weathered silverware. We kept to a stormy colour palette inspired by mercurial skies, sparkling water, slicks of silver sand softened with gently frayed silk and layered white textures.
Imagine romantic shoreline revelry under fading light followed by a candlelit dinner, the air perfumed with the salty sea and endless champagne sipped from crystal stemware. White bentwood chairs naked on the sand, accompanied by bare feet and billowing linen with clear quartz clusters (a perfect prism atop each plate) completing the scene while doubling as unique, incredible gifts for guests...oceanic talismans of a surreal evening.
