Pouline is obsessed with anything visual be it a beautiful color graded movie, an elegant font, a well put together outfit, a balanced interior or a perfectly composed photograph. Behind The Brand

How would you describe your photography style?

Aesthetic documentary.

What is it that makes an image magical?

The ability to take you back in time.

What advice would you give to the camera-shy couple?

The vast majority of my couples are not models so camera-shy is really my normal. The best advice I can give is to pretend I’m not there. During portraits I’ve got your back, don’t worry. But for the rest of the day just enjoy yourselves, the best images are captured when you’re not aware.

Do you travel interstate or internationally?

Being half Swedish, half Danish I do about two-thirds of my weddings here in Scandinavia and for the rest, I travel both within Europe and internationally.

As an estimate, how long does your editing process take?

I deliver previews within a week and the full edit usually takes me 6-10 weeks depending on the season.

Describe a magical moment from a wedding you’ve photographed…

ALL the heartfelt speeches.

For the couple…

For couples inspired by fresh, soulful frames that spill with light and love. Couples drawn to black & white or neutral color tones will adore Pouline’s crisp aesthetic. For nostalgia lovers, she also shoots on film as well as digital.

Styling tips…

Pouline hails from Scandinavia and her aesthetic reflects this. Consider a modern romantic or minimal approach to styling, choose a subtle palette to complement this and incorporate elements inspired by design.
