Opened in 2009 by chef and restaurateur Andrew McConnell, the world-class venue reflects Andrew’s passion for exceptional produce, genuine service, and memorable dining experiences.

What rooms/spaces do you have available for a wedding?

Exclusive hire of the entire restaurant includes the venue’s three distinct spaces – The Dining Room, The Bar, and The Private Dining Room.

The smoky leather booths, marbled green Pilbara stone, and moody lighting of the Dining Room combine as the backdrop for one of Melbourne’s finest culinary experiences. Elegantly partitioned by floor to ceiling windows and sheer blinds, the Private Dining Room offers the option to be absorbed into the main dining room or to draw sheer drapes for privacy and seclusion.

Contemporary and chic, the stunning interior of Cutler & Co. offers an impressive setting for any occasion; whether you are looking to throw a cocktail party with friends, or an intimate dinner party.


How many people can each of these cater for?

We have the capacity to host 92 seated guests or 140 guests for cocktail-style weddings. For intimate weddings, the Private Dining Room can accommodate up 40 guests.


Do you offer onsite accommodation?

While we do not have onsite accommodation, we can provide couples with a list of local Melbourne accommodation providers.


What additional features and facilities does your venue offer that couples may find useful?

Cutler & Co. offers an event coordinator to each celebration who will work closely with each couple to arrange all food and beverage details, running times, and coordinate vendors. All events include staffing, restaurant linen, restaurant music, and printed menus for each guest. We welcome styling, bands, DJs, and dance floors at events held during exclusive venue hire, and we are happy to connect you with our preferred suppliers.

Cutler & Co. definitely attracts couples that value incredible food and service as the most important part of the day. The thought behind crafting the perfect menu and selection is a key part of their planning and the creative approach to Cutler & Co.’s event menus meaning that guests can enjoy a world-class dining experience in a special event environment.

We often attract more ‘relaxed’ couples when it comes to all the other moving parts that are usually associated with weddings – the fanfare – as for them, it is all about creating a really memorable dining experience with quality at every touchpoint.

The space is truly one of Melbourne’s best dining rooms and exclusive use of the space means welcome drinks in the Cutler & Co. Bar, and a warm arrival with the open kitchen in swing as the backdrop.

Every one of our weddings is different – tailored and personalized to the couple we’re celebrating to make their day as relaxed as possible, be it an elegant lunch affair, a grand evening cocktail party, or an intimate gathering with the nearest and dearest.
