About Dimora Delle Balze

Dimora delle Balze is a 19th century estate in which time doesn’t seem to have passed. The walls, the floors and the ceilings tell fascinating stories filled with Mediterranean feeling, eager to be listened to. The estate has a big quadrangular courtyard which the rooms overlook. In the right wing, an ancient gate leads to the manor-house. The interior is composed of a large number of rooms where there are authentic Rinascimento frescoes, brought back to their original splendour. Lastly, the Manor Garden, formerly enhanced by stone benches, today hosts the remains of the pre-existing classical columns and terraces, set up with armchairs and custom-made design objects.

What rooms/spaces do you have available for a wedding?

Dimora delle Balze is the perfect location to host events specially created for our clients. The spaces for the events are comfortable and refined, with the possibility to choose between the many internal courts, gardens, swimming pool area, and the lemon orchard. You can have a civil or a symbolic ceremony on the panoramic terrace, in the Giardino d’inverno Courtyard, or along our majestic Viale dei Carrubi.

How many people can each of these cater for?

Dimora delle Balze has its own catering. The property relies on self-production of vegetables and herbs, all typical of Sicily and 100% organic. We would be glad to organize a welcome dinner, a brunch, or a pool party with a menu tailored to our clients’ requests.

Do you offer onsite accommodation?

Dimora delle Balze sleeps 22 people in 11 rooms. It is possible to organize up to 26 guests with extra beds.
