About Divine Atelier
The Divine Atelier story is one about dreams, romantic ideals, Bohemian spirit and femininity. It's also about the past years' poetry, their love for art and redefining the look of the wedding dress, crafting talent, couture details and simplicity in an elegant, glamorous way.
The unconventional style, the studied simplicity, the delicate, subtle details of retro romantic inspiration, fluidity, freshness and modernity are all the aesethtic signature of the brand.
Divine Atelier envisages a modern, free—spirited bride, seductive and natural. A bride who wishes for a unique, atemporal dress - a dress to tell her story, expressing emotions, dreams and aspirations - a dress to fall in love with.
Behind The Brand
Describe the woman you design for…
The bride I have imagined in the Divine Atelier collections is a Bohemian bride, with a natural, relaxed style, a hopeless romantic who knows about trends and who wants to wear a dress to inspire and tell her story during her special day.
What is your most popular piece?
The most popular dress for the last three years has been Eden. The Bohemian identity of this dress is reflected by the ethereal style, the romantic, charming details of the lace, the minimalist lines and the delicate touch.
What advice would you give to brides-to-be?
The only piece of advice I can give to brides-to-be is to listen to their instincts as there must be chemistry involved in choosing their dress, just as it is in love.
As a designer, what tips do you have for brides to get the most out of their fittings?
I also consider that too many opinions can confuse and distress the brides, resulting in inappropriate choices. Deciding on the wedding dress is a stylistic challenge, a personal act triggered by knowledge and emotion.
Do you offer a custom design service for brides? If so, how long does it take to make a custom piece?
The Divine Atelier dresses can be personalized as long as these alterations will not affect the look of the initial model we proposed in our collections.
What advice do you give to brides to care for their gown?
The wedding dress preserved over time becomes a symbol of love. I have always been inspired by stories of grandma’s wedding dress kept in a chest. Time transforms these dresses into precious objects which have dreams, hopes, memories tucked under layers of tulle and silk. This is why I recommend brides to have the dress cleaned by a specialized dry cleaner and store it in a box covered in small lavender bouquets. Their daughters will be delighted to discover later in time their mother’s wedding dress.
Why we love it…
Delicate, ethereal gowns infused with bohemian elements – intricate embroidery, billowing sleeves. Exquisite detailing that is perfectly considered and not overdone.
For the woman…
Who wants a beautiful balance of free-spirited Bohemia, with the elegance and nostalgia you search for in a timeless wedding gown.
Wear these pieces nonchalantly – tousled, undone hair, barefoot on the beach.
