Behind The Brand
Describe the man you design for…
The Gibson guy is looking for a well – tailored, comfortable, good quality suit – but he also isn’t afraid to be playful with his style to make a bold statement.
What advice do you have for grooms looking to have a suit tailored?
Tailor the suit to contour your shape and try not to tailor a suit too much – there should be smooth lines and always try and maintain an aesthetic that is flattering to the overall body. Always tailor the jacket while wearing the trouser so you can get a silhouette that is consistent from shoulder to hem.
What is your most popular style for grooms and groomsmen?
A navy dinner suit for a groom is a timeless and stylish option. Navy suits for the groomsmen are a classic suit they can wear again.
What advice do you give to men to care for their suit?
Do not over dry clean a suit, a couple of times a year is plenty without ruining the integrity of the cloth, making their suit look better, longer.
Why we love it…
Fresh, pastel, florals, Gibson speaks to those reaching for a hint of difference in contemporary suiting.
For the groom..
Young at heart, experimental with texture and colour palettes, bold and playful.
A Gibson waistcoat adds a level of unspoken sophistication.
The details matter, a pocket square makes all the difference.
