Lucerna's philosophy lies in elevating wedding stationery as an expressive form of art through subtle textures that evoke a genuine feeling to bring the paper to life aiming for the essence that exists between each soul pair.

My pure interest in creating intentional wedding stationery has led me to create unique pieces, paying attention to every detail the couples share with me, because their love must be written with the grace and complicity that it deserves on their wedding day. We take pride in designing and producing each piece with all our passion and extra care in-house.

Behind The Brand

What was the initial spark for your brand, how did it all begin?

I began my journey in the wedding industry by designing my own wedding invitations. This is how I found in wedding stationery the best opportunity to create meaningful designs around the noblest promise such as love.

How would you describe your aesthetic?

If I could tell you what the core of my style is in Lucerna, I would say it is modern, with an aesthetic touch of classical freshness which is intrinsically related to pure and clean design line.

What inspires your work creatively?

My admiration for the art and meaning behind each piece inspired me to integrate editorial design in a sophisticated way with wedding stationery. My main inspirations arise from the conceptualization of authentic couples, selecting the materials and textures that best convey with the message that each couple wish to evoke in their wedding stationery.

My favourite materials are those that by their own nature reflect quality and an organic aesthetic, which allow ancient printing techniques such as blind letterpress or hot stamping to leave a touch-sensitive imprint to cherish.

Tell us about the process for couples when designing/purchasing their wedding stationery?

I make sure that couples enjoy the process of creating their wedding stationery from the beginning, so for me it is essential to create a personal connection from the beginning since absolutely every detail in the design will revolve around them.

We know that getting married is not an everyday thing. That is why in our process you will find a guide along the path. Our main purpose is to facilitate the process and help you enjoy this stage in your wedding planning.

To do this we divide the process into 4 steps:

• STEP ONE – FINDING YOUR VIBE – We will ask you to share with us the essence of the wedding you are dreaming of, the aesthetic aspects, such as colour palette, style and the intangible details of the history that has brought you here, with all this gold we will create concepts and ideas and thus create a meaningful design thought of you.
• STEP TWO – DESIGN CONCEPT – Now that we’ve captured the essence of you as a couple, we’ll move on to the design creation stage. Here we will work initial sketches that reflect you’re on your wedding day, through the textures of the materials, fonts, and graphics; where thanks to the most luxurious printing finishes your valuable and unique love story will become tangible.
• STEP THREE – DETAIL AND ADJUST – We will consider your comments regarding the initial proposals, and we will make revisions and adjustments as in the design aspect, materials as in the informative texts, to achieve a unique and impeccable design for you, in three different rounds.
• STEP FOUR – RELEASE & PRODUCE – Once the design has been fully approved, we are ready to begin producing and assembling each piece. This part of the process takes approximately 4 to 6 weeks. Then finally the most anticipated part arrives and we carefully pack your package to be sent.

What tips or advice can you share for choosing wedding stationery?

Without a doubt, good planning will reflect the look and feel that you have carefully chosen for your unique wedding day. When planning a wedding, couples can make the mistake of thinking that they are the only ones doing it now, and on the contrary, you will have to deal with delivery deadlines to have each item of wedding stationery on time, considering that truly meaningful designs take time to be created for you.

Downplaying the formality with which you invite your loved ones to your wedding can affect the coherence of the message you want to give to your guests on your wedding day. If you are planning a beautiful wedding, taking care of every aspect of it such as the most beautiful flowers or beautiful tableware, in a very distinguished venue, you will not be able to invite him exclusively through digital means, no matter how practical this may be, digital means are only a complement that cannot replace a formal invitation.
