About Pallas Collective

Pallas Collective is a modern bridal and eveningwear label which combines the luxury of high fashion with an air of effortless ease

As the sister label of world-class design house Pallas Couture, Pallas Collective encapsulates the signature romantic aesthetic for which Pallas is renowned, yet with a more relaxed undertone.

Designed by Pallas Couture Design Director Joy Morris together with the house’s talented team, Pallas Collective’s designs seek sophistication, maintaining the brand’s ethos of original design with luxury and fine technique at its core.

Handcrafted in-house in Australia using the finest quality European textiles including French laces, soft silks and Italian embroideries and appliqués, Pallas Collective designs feature larger lace placement and a more minimalistic construction, resulting in contemporary gowns with an alluring sense of chic.

Pallas Collective is accessible, attainable and is designed with the modern woman in mind. Ready-to-wear, each dress is made using traditional couture techniques, with customizable options tailored to  each bride’s desired aesthetic and personal style.

Behind The Brand

Describe the woman you design for…

Like our sister label Pallas Couture, we are known for our highly romantic and feminine aesthetic with intricate lace detailing and a sculpted silhouette, designed to enhance and compliment one’s natural body shape. The Pallas Collective bride is modern bride, effortless in her style but with a sense of confidence and ease.

What is your most popular piece?

Being known for our fitted gowns with French corsetry, our most popular styles tend to be those that are sculpted to the body. That said, we also have a lot of demand for fuller style gowns with of course, perfectly fitted bodices. For those who want both the slim and fuller look, we often create fitted gowns with full detachable skirts. The brides will often walk down the aisle with the princess gown before removing the skirt for a fabulous reception gown.

What advice would you give to brides-to-be?

Brides generally start the process by looking through Instagram to understand each designer’s aesthetic rather than looking for a dress. Once they’ve researched a number of designers, you can consult say three for an initial discussion before working with one particular design team to create their absolute dream gown.

As a designer, what tips do you have for brides to get the most out of their fittings?

We always ask our brides to show us gowns they like on our Instagram page as this always creates a good starting point to determine the type of aesthetic they are drawn to. After this, we look to shapes and provide advice on what would work best and compliment them so they feel the best version of themselves on their wedding day. We will work with them and they trust us and our advice to ultimately create the dress of their dreams.

Do you offer a custom design service for brides? If so, how long does it take to make a custom piece?

Pallas Couture is custom design bridal house. Whilst we have collections and constantly are injecting with new pieces, these are a guide and ultimately, we work with our brides to create bespoke designs that are truly unique to them for their special day. Gowns take six months to create at Pallas with a number of design and fit appointments to continuously collaborate throughout the process. Pallas Collective is a ready to wear label with a price point reflective of this however we do offer a number of small customisations within a price bracket. Should our brides truly love a Pallas Collective style but want many customisations to make it truly bespoke for her, we can do so and it transforms into a Pallas Couture gown with the six-month appointment process.

What advice do you give to brides to care for their gown?

Dry cleaning is key and to seek the recommendation from the designer as to where to do this. The dry cleaner should place it in a beautiful box to truly preserve the gown as a forever cherished memory.
