About Stefano Santucci
My name is Stefano Santucci. I am a visual storytelling photographer inspired by love stories, the elegance & mystery of forgotten objects. I believe in the blend of curiosity, creativity & nostalgia. I adore style & elegance. I specialize in wedding photography and believe every shot needs to tell a piece of the story. My studio is small by design. I own a print lab that I am very proud of. I personally oversee every piece of work the Studio sends out into the world. Back in my parents’ house in Cremona, there is a dusty psychology degree…
Behind The Brand
Your best piece of advice for event planning?
Great wedding photography is about being natural and being relaxed and, funny enough, forgetting about the camera. Remember to enjoy every moment of your wedding day. Do not be focus on the clock or on the schedule. SMILE. And remember to breathe!
What was the spark for your brand? Where did the story begin?
I was born in 1983 in Cremona, a small town in the north of Italy and the birthplace of Stradivarius. In 2003, I moved to Florence, in the center of the Tuscan hills, and birthplace of the Italian Renaissance.I am a visual storytelling photographer, specializing in wedding photography. I believe every shot needs to tell a piece of the story.
To me photography is always been like a mirror and it always has been a way to express myself as a natural therapy. Because it is my passion, I often hear incredible love stories. They are timeless, and they span the centuries. Think back to the master works of the great Renaissance painters. Their subject? Love. Always love. What distinguishes the good from the great? I believe it comes down to one thing and one thing alone: the uniqueness of the sensibility and the willingness and commitment to treat each couple – and each story – as something completely different, extraordinary and, well, unique. I bring this to my work. I bring this deeply personal way to the stories we tell about love. That is my pledge to you.
What inspires you creatively?
I am inspired by love stories, and the elegance and mystery of forgotten objects. I believe in the blend of curiosity, creativity and nostalgia. I adore style and elegance.
Most memorable place you’ve travelled?
I worked in Morocco, Norway, Greece, Australia, and of course in many parts of Italy. I consider the journey as an intimate and emotional process within ourselves rather than as a final destination to be reached. And in every place I’ve been I’ve learned something new about myself.
On a typical weekend we’ll find you?
Traveling and working on a destination wedding or traveling and discovering new places and new people.
A favorite quote?
“You need to travel deep inside yourself to create a good picture.”
