Haunting and poetic, a styled shoot of textural elements and oceanic touches set against the wild and rugged coast of Ireland…

On a deserted beach in Dublin comes a moment of untamed beauty…

From the unique vision of Fern Cakery, a scene ensconced in elemental allure was set. Converging the concept of escapism with the haunting poetry of Ireland’s littoral landscape, a display of textured cakes, stationery, and oceanic jewels were styled against the wild and rugged coastline of Howth Head.

A palette of greyscale tones mirrored the location’s moody ambience and dusky skies. Textural stationery printed with eloquent, meaningful words introduced an expressive touch to the setting, styled beside sculptural orchards that infused a feeling of sensual romance.

“With a lot of couples having to postpone or pause their wedding plans, we wanted to create something that would serve as an inspiration to these couples and give them a moment of escapism while they are dreaming up their new weddings plans.”

The raw edges and crumbling aesthetic of the cake designs mimicked the beach’s sea-beaten rocks, while elegant jewels of pearl and delicate gold paid homage to the oceanic surroundings.

“If you decide to go with an outdoor wedding, let your celebration blend in with the landscape.”
