This Barcelona Hotel Was Born From Literature
Amidst Barcelona’s vibrant kaleidoscope of unbridled creativity, storied elegance, and Catalan architectural modernism, Sir Victor Hotel offers design-forward luxury, near the iconic Passeig de Gràcia.

Sundown on the rooftop. An expanse of city views, shaped by Gaudi, otherworldly and wild. The lingering warmth of the fading Mediterranean sun. The pulse of intoxicating music. Laidback days awash in Barcelona’s beauty, segue into delicious, late nights.

An indulgent escape to the buzzy, colorful, and unabashedly poetic city of Barcelona. Centuries of history, enveloped by mountains, sun, and sea. An urban collision of visionary creatives, bound together by a non-conformist heart and laidback soul. An avant-garde tangle of Catalan culture, art, architecture, and cuisine.
A stone’s throw from the iconic boulevard of Passeig de Gràcia, in the elegant, historic, and artistic neighborhood of Eixample, the impeccable design hotel, Sir Victor, part of the Sircle Collection, awaits. A balance of luxury, modern comforts, and bohemian spirit.
At home amidst Antoni Gaudí’s modernist, architectural marvels, the Casa Milà and La Sagrada Familia, this boutique hotel’s sculptural limestone façade was boldly inspired by the vision of a book’s pages, fluttering in the wind. Sir Victor’s namesake honors Víctor Català, the penname of the famous local writer, Caterina Albert i Paradís, who was denied publication as a woman. Inspired by Barcelona’s natural landscapes and the tension between the masculine and feminine, Sir Victor’s thoughtful, textured design is steeped in meaning and rooted in authentic Catalan craftsmanship. A journey for the senses, the undulating façade (sea) leads into the light and plant-filled lobby (land) which meanders to the darker, oak, metal, and leather-filled award-winning restaurant, Mr. Porter (mountains).

The Magic
The Views from the Rooftop Pool & Bar
The views from Sir Victor’s vibey rooftop bar and pool terrace are some of the most impressive in Barcelona. The perfect place to pause, unwind, swim, lounge, and later, to dance while a local DJ spins. Indulge in spicy, artisanal cocktails overlooking uninterrupted views of this sprawling city’s rebellious beauty and marvel at Gaudi’s architectural masterpieces: La Sagrada Familia and Casa Milà.
The Location
Barcelona is a dreamy, delicious city that invites you to fully surrender to its beauty. Brilliantly located steps away from an overflow of sensory authentic delights including storied art, architecture, restaurants, and shopping—from Sir Victor you can easily walk to Gaudi’s last architectural feat, Casa Milà, also known as “La Pedrera,” an UNESCO World Heritage Site, or meander along the luxurious Passeig de Gràcia.
The Corners
Interior design and architecture studio Baranowitz + Kronenberg, who reimagined Sir Victor’s ground-level spaces, expressed that “Luxury is a feeling.” We loved the myriad of contrasting corners, each suited to different moods, and designed to evoke a different feel. Indulge quietly with a book in the library of all female authors, chat with friends in the social lobby space, or enjoy date night perched at Mr. Porter’s sleek marble bar.

Art & Architecture
Explore the unbounded creativity of Barcelona’s visionary artists and architects: Guadí, Picasso, and Miró. We loved the ease, authentic local soul, and expertise offered by the hotel’s SIR EXPLORE BARCELONA’s experiences. A perfect solo, couple, or group outing, “Buildings That Speak,” offers an off-the-grid tour of some of the city’s lesser-known, Modernisme architectural masterpieces.
Catalan Cuisine & Wine
Laidback Barcelona days spent marveling at renowned art and architecture should punctuated, frequently, with savoring its menagerie of decadent and delicious Catalan cuisine and beverages. Indulge in local jamon, anchovies, tapas, vermouth, wines, and expert mixologist artisanal cocktails. Sir Victor offers an excellent concierge service, local city guide, and a local wine tour exploring hidden gem producers. We love Cal Pep for life-changing tapas.

A Day at the Beach (Club)
Per the hotel’s recommendation, head over to Barcelona’s beachside neighborhood, La Barceloneta, for a relaxing day. First stop at one of the oldest local restaurants in this former fishing quarter, Cova Fumada, for an unfussy and wildly delicious lunch. Spend the rest of the day lounging in seaside elegance at the chic Bastien Beach Club.
Sir Victor Staycation
We love the idea of spending one full day embracing the art of delicious laziness, enjoying the luxurious amenities. After coffee on your private terrace, head to the rooftop pool for a morning swim. Indulge in a Sircle Signature Ritual, utilizing Mediterranean botanicals at the Serena Spa. Enjoy sundowners at The Rooftop, followed by dinner and craft cocktails at the award-winning Mr. Porter, which attracts as many locals as hotel guests.
A 20- minute drive from Barcelona airport.
