Our Favorite Looks from Schiaparelli Couture Spring 2025
Quiet luxury can wait – opulence takes center stage at Schiaparelli. Our curated edit of Schiaparelli’s Couture Spring 2025 collection showcases extravagantly bold gowns to inspire your black-tie wedding guest look.

To unearth a long-lost artifact that stirs the soul. To cradle it in your hands as waves of nostalgia wash over you. A connection both profound and unexpected. For Schiaparelli creative director, Daniel Roseberry, this moment arrived with the rediscovery of antique ribbon – forgotten, unused, and ripe with potential. He repurposed it in an act of creative escapism, reimagining the notion that modern design must be simple and unadorned. Interviewed after the show, he posed a compelling question: why can’t modernity embrace extravagance? Why limit our imagination to the idea that creating something truly new requires simplicity and minimalism?
Pearls, feathers, and embroidery cascaded from decadent sculpted gowns, while glittering beadwork adorned sheer fabrics layered with intricate textures. Carved silhouettes came to life through techniques pioneered by some of couture’s greatest masters, Yves Saint Laurent and Azzedine Alaïa. Oversized basque jackets contrasted dramatically with luminous satins, creating striking proportions. Swaying with life, these gowns showcased a level of craftsmanship and intricacy rarely seen in a world where ‘less is more’ has become the norm.
