Behind The Brand

What was the initial spark for your brand, how did it all begin?

Ostras was born at the intersection of three concepts I’ve studied and experienced: interior design, communication, and emotional storytelling.

Interior design taught me that the way a space is created can shape the way we feel. Communication taught me that there’s a message in every detail when it’s crafted with an intention (the color of a flower, the shape of a chair, the font of a letter). And it was throughout the planning of my own wedding that I learned about the importance of emotional storytelling. I didn’t want to impress, I wanted to touch people’s hearts. I wanted to create something sacred, meaningful, and emotionally alive.

Since that moment, I’ve come to realize that every couple carries a quiet intention: They care not only on how things should look, but how they want to feel, and how they want others to feel too.

Those feelings, along the story the couple wants to tell, is my starting point, and from there I shape an atmosphere where every element speaks the same language.

What services do you offer couples?

I offer four core services, each designed to capture the essence of the couple:

Art direction & living scenography: The visual and atmospheric soul of the celebration. I curate everything from the concept to the materials, ensuring that each element speaks the same emotional language.

Visual poetry & stationery: From save-the-date to menus and signage, I create tactile pieces to set the tone of the day and become keepsakes of meaning.

International planning seamless flow: I offer full guidance through the entire process, from logistics to creative decisions, with coherence, structure, and care.

On-the-day Coordination: Quiet presence and seamless orchestration so that everything flows as intended with attention to detail.

Each service can be offered on its own or as part of a more intentional journey.

When combined, they allow for a cohesive narrative and a visual experience where everything feels seamless, always shaped with intention, and open to what each couple brings.

How would you describe your aesthetic?

My aesthetic is quiet and intentional. Poetic, rather than perfect. I’m inspired by textures, authentic elegance, and thoughtful imperfection, a kind of beauty that whispers, that stays.

I balance softness and structure, silence and symbolism. I design from emotion, from the couple’s essence and how they want to feel. While I’m aware of trends, I don’t follow them blindly. What matters to me most, is creating an atmosphere that feels intimate, timeless, and emotionally true.

As a planner or stylist, what are you inspired by at the moment in the world of weddings?

Right now, I’m inspired by everything that feels intentional and emotionally grounded. Weddings that are intimate, deep and meaningful. Where beauty comes from coherence, not from spectacle.

I’m less drawn to a specific style or material, and more to the emotional clarity behind every choice. Whether bold or minimal, natural or structured, what moves me is when every element , from colors to rhythms, reflects a deeper intention.

What would you like to see less of?

I’d like to see less pressure to impress, less fear of judgment, less focus on spectacle. Weddings are not stages, they are emotional moments. And the most powerful ones are not always the loudest, but the ones that feel honest, personal, and meaningful to the couple.

A styling/planning tip or two you’ve learned along the way that you’d give to any couple?

Start by asking yourselves: How do we want to feel that day? What do we want to express? And how do we want others to feel? Let those answers guide everything, from the colors, textures, and choice of flowers to the timing and the music. And once you’ve chosen the right team, trust them.
