About Agriturismo Pancolina

Pancolina is a farmhouse sitting in the small village of Pancole, just a few kilometres from the medieval Tuscan towns of San Gimignano and Certaldo. From its panoramic position, guests can enjoy the gorgeous views of the soft rolling hills, vineyards, and olive groves of the Tuscan countryside. The property, originally a farmer’s home built in the 1600s, has been restored to create five unique luxury accommodations with private entrances and proper garden areas. A panoramic pool is set among the property’s olive grove offering stunning views on the area and the towers of San Gimignano.

What was the initial spark for the property and how did it all begin?

Pia, a Danish designer and owner of Pancolina, made her dream come true when she discovered this amazing farmhouse, which origins reach back to the 16th century. Originally planned as a family vacation home, it took many months of careful and attentive restoration to transform the property into a charming farmhouse with five luxury accommodations of different sizes. Great attention was given to an authentic restoration exalting original and local materials. All accommodations are furnished In an elegant, classic Tuscan style mixed In with modern touches, creating a stylish and luxurious yet highly welcoming atmosphere.

What spaces do you offer for a wedding or event?

Pancolina is an idyllic location for an intimate Italian Wedding, elopements and honeymoons. The ample spaces of the garden offer many spots that can be used for different functions on the Wedding Day: a symbolic Ceremony with view to San Gimignano, aperitif at the panoramic pool and a reception at the lovely courtyard are some of our options.

Situated perfectly on a hill, the property offers stunning and wide views from every angle, overlooking vineyards and the farmhouse olive grove. Comfortable and well-equipped apartments can accommodate up to 18 guests. A large private kitchen and lounge offers an additional space to guests in Pancolina during their stay.

What is it that makes your property magic?

Pancolina’s location and amenities make it an ideal setting in which to enjoy all that Tuscany has to offer. Much attention has been paid to every detail in the property, with hand-picked furniture and accessories, creating unique accommodations, well-designed common spaces and a charming and familiar atmosphere. The surrounding landscape Is nature pure, including the well-kept garden and property’s private olive grove producing excellent organic olive oil.

What advice can you give couples when selecting their venue?

Get all your ideas and vision out and form your wish list. Choose your Venue when you are clear on your absolute priorities. Get in touch with the Property and never stop asking questions. Use reason and logic but also your personal heart feeling. A good communication with the venue, expertise and professional, is the best starting point to make your day truly special
