AZLEE Custom Atelier offers clients the opportunity to work directly with designer Baylee Zwart to create Women's and Men's one-of-a-kind pieces, modern engagement rings and wedding bands. With a belief that Engagement Rings should feel distinguishably personal, modern and timeless, they have curated a selection of the most rare-cut, unusual, high-quality diamonds from all over the world for clients to choose from. Their process is highly collaborative and personal and they work with clients based all over the world.

Custom pieces are made from 100% recycled gold and platinum featuring ethically sourced and vintage diamonds. Each piece sold benefits ocean-related organizations.

Behind The Brand

Where are your gemstones and diamonds sourced from?

We have curated a selection of the most rare-cut, unusual, high-quality diamonds for our clients to choose from. Options feature ethically sourced and vintage diamonds from all over the globe. We also work with unusual shapes of emeralds, rubies and other colored stones from around the world.

Do you offer a custom design service? If so, how long does it take to make a custom piece?

Yes, we offer custom design services. Our process is incredibly collaborative and intimate. Once the main stone is chosen by the client, we ask for approximately 3-6 weeks to create the piece.

What is your most popular piece?

We are known for these unusual diamonds, mixed with more traditional, timeless settings for a balance between something truly special yet timeless. Our pieces have a nod of Art Deco influences mixed with ancient influences, so our most popular pieces are our ancient coins, and our Modern Deco hoops and bands. We are also known for our enamel jewelry.

What advice would you give to a couple looking for their wedding jewelry?

You shouldn’t feel like you need to educate yourself extensively on the various aspects of diamonds. If you work with someone you trust, they should take that pressure off of you. I feel it is my job to vet diamonds before clients even see them. We don’t use anything aside from top quality, so clients can rest assured they are getting a quality diamond, with quality craftsmanship. It helps take the guesswork and pressure off of them.

What tips do you have for couples to care for their jewelry?

Storing your jewelry separate from one another will really reduce the scratches on each piece!
