What draws you to wedding photography?
I am drawn to wedding photography because capturing the special moments and emotions of such a significant day in someone’s life is incredibly rewarding. I love being able to document the love, joy, and happiness shared between couples and their families, creating lasting memories that they can cherish forever. The artistry and storytelling aspect of wedding photography also appeal to me, as each wedding is unique and presents a new challenge to creatively capture the essence of the day.
How would you describe your photography style?
My photography style can be described as a blend of authentic, romantic, and timeless. I strive to capture genuine moments and emotions, infuse a sense of romance and elegance into my compositions, and create images that will stand the test of time. Through my unique perspective and attention to detail, I aim to create photographs that not only capture the moment but also evoke emotions and nostalgia for years to come.
I use both film and digital photography to craft exquisite images that you’ll cherish, and take time getting to know you as a couple so that your personalities radiate through each shot.
What inspires you creatively?
I am inspired creatively by various things such as nature, people, music, art, different cultures, personal experiences, and emotions. I like to draw inspiration from my surroundings and inner thoughts, channelling them into my work to create something unique and meaningful. The world is full of inspiration waiting to be discovered, and I strive to bring that into my work.
What is it that makes an image magical?
I think the magic lies in capturing intimate, emotional moments that tell the unique story of a couple’s special day. The ability to freeze fleeting moments of love, joy, and connection in a single frame is what makes wedding photography truly magical. The play of light, composition, and emotion all come together to create timeless images that evoke powerful memories and emotions for the couple and their loved ones.
What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?
When selecting a wedding photographer, it is important for couples to do thorough research, view their portfolio to ensure their style aligns with what you want, meet with them in person or on video chat to discuss expectations, clarify all details of the contract, and trust your instincts in choosing someone who makes you feel comfortable. Communication and clear expectations are key to ensuring a smooth and successful collaboration with your wedding photographer.
Your dream location to shoot a wedding?
It’s not a difficult decision, years ago I left a piece of my heart in Italy, I have always felt a strong connection with this country. That’s why Italy is always first on my list.
