About Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, A Belmond Hotel
Discover a fairytale manor house in which French flair meets the charms of rural England. Created by celebrated chef Raymond Blanc OBE, Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, A Belmond Hotel, is one of the country's most cherished manor house hotels. We received two Michelin stars in 1984, the first year of our opening, and, remarkably, have held them ever since. As our maître de maison, Raymond Blanc’s passion permeates through our hotel—from the individually-designed suites to the menus in our two Michelin-starred restaurant. Lush gardens are an abundance of colour in summer, while the honey-hued manor is warmed by open fires through winter.

The warmest welcome, as if you are entering a home from home. Exemplary service from the knowledgeable team. Surrounded by lawns, flower borders and orchards, our setting is postcard-perfect. But beyond the eye-catching displays are vegetable and herb gardens that provide the kitchen—and the acclaimed Raymond Blanc Cookery School—with ultra-fresh, organic produce. There are many hidden pathways through the tranquil gardens – at every turn, you will be greeted by striking bronze or willow sculptures. Every bedroom is evocatively named Lavande, Opium, Jade, and Vettriano, highlighting the fact that designs are inspired by Raymond Blanc’s travel and love or art and culture.
