Behind The Brand…
What was the initial spark for your brand, how did it all begin?
I’ve always loved entertaining and intended for Broyt to be event planning only. Once I started, I quickly realized there was a lack of artful, ethically made tableware for hire. I contacted a few of my favourite artists and commissioned them to make some functional pieces to start our rental collection.

What are you inspired by at the moment in the world of weddings?
I’m inspired by smaller, more intimate weddings. I think since Covid, we’ve seen a shift with our brides and grooms. People really value the connections they lost, and it’s reflected in the “quality”, not quantity of wedding size.
A décor styling/planning tip or two you’ve learned along the way that you’d give to any couple?
When pulling ideas for your wedding, don’t just look at other weddings; look at everything that inspires you. Art, music, dance, nature, flavours. We can create something beautiful that reflects you rather than try to recreate something someone else did.
Tell us about your booking/hiring process and what couples should know beforehand?
Each wedding package is tailored to the bride and groom’s needs. We work to create a custom package for each gathering rather than a one size fits all approach.
