With a keen eye for candid moments and beautiful details, Hayden captures emotion-filled frames on a variety of mediums telling a love story that is reminiscent of any wedding day.

It's those in-between moments that he believes are the epitome of any wedding. That cheeky smile, a hug from grandma, and the tears of your loved ones, these are the moments Hayden adores.

This has allowed him to adopt a style that is candid and editorial whilst also having a visual composition that is dramatic, raw, and always authentic.

After diving into wedding photography full-time 7 years ago, Hayden has been fortunate enough to photograph weddings both far and wide throughout the country and the globe including Bali, Tasmania, and Melbourne.

Hayden is based on the Mornington Peninsula but is sought after by couples within Victoria and across the country. His love for travel also allows the opportunity for any destination wedding abroad.

Behind the Brand

What draws you to wedding photography?

Those in-between moments shared between loved ones at weddings, they are a true representation of the happiest moments within our lives. I’m always intrigued with the diversity of creativity wedding photography brings.

How would you describe your photography style?

I believe my style is candid and editorial whilst allowing a visual composition that is dramatic, raw and forever authentic.

What inspires you creatively?

I find myself forever inspired by the little moments, the delicate details or the light between the trees as couples share a moment. However, my biggest driver for creativity is the ocean, the ultimate reset and playground. I feel totally at peace within it.

What is it that makes an image magical?

Elements within an image that evoke emotion, ones that illustrate exactly what happened within that moment.

Photographs can become timeless when you see one and feelings or memories are brought forth and then those moments steal your heart forever.

What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?

Put in the time when researching, find a style that you truly love and envision yourself in their work.
The investment in a photographer is paramount because it’s their images that become the only tangible memories you may have from your wedding day. Trust in them and you will feel at ease and comfortable when those special moments occur.

Your dream location to shoot a wedding?

Somewhere with beautiful soft evening light, the coast of France in the Summer is my biggest allure.
