Behind The Brand
What was the spark for beginning your brand?
Our brand began as a passion project rooted in a love for history, craftsmanship, and storytelling. From the start, we were drawn to the idea of creating garments that carry meaning—pieces that feel like artefacts of a forgotten era yet remain timeless. With nearly half a century of expertise in embroidered fabric production and bridal dresses, we built our foundation on meticulous craftsmanship, ensuring that every detail reflects both technical mastery and artistic vision. The spark came from a desire to merge tradition with innovation, bringing historical influences into a modern couture landscape where each piece tells its own story.
What inspires you creatively?
We find inspiration in the richness of history, art, and storytelling—particularly the way emotions, myths, and craftsmanship have been expressed through textiles and garments across centuries. Medieval romances, baroque opulence, and the intricate details of antique embroidery all serve as starting points for our creative process. Beyond these, we are deeply influenced by the storytelling traditions of ancient civilizations—Mesopotamian and Mediterranean cultures, where mythology, symbolism, and craftsmanship were woven into everyday life. From the ornate textiles of ancient Mesopotamia to the flowing, draped silhouettes of classical antiquity, these histories feed our artisanal approach in every sense. Creativity for us is about reinterpreting the past with a modern perspective, crafting pieces that feel both timeless and alive with narrative depth.
A favorite quote or piece of advice that inspires your creative work?
A quote that has always resonated with us probably would come from the ancient Greek storyteller, Homer: “The secret of happiness is freedom, and the secret of freedom is courage.” This idea of intertwining freedom and courage is something that speaks deeply to our creative process. Having the opportunity to have our own sources and in house facilities sometimes has the risk of being repetitive or stable, but we try to get out of our comfort zone and try to push limits to be freer in terms of designing a dress in every sense. Just as these ancient tales shaped culture and identity, our creations are about giving life to timeless narratives—pieces that tell stories of strength, beauty, and the freedom to express oneself authentically.
What advice can you give to brides when shopping for their dress?
Choosing a bridal gown is a deeply personal experience, and our best advice is to stay true to what resonates with you—not just what’s trending. A wedding dress should reflect your personality, your vision of the day, and the emotions you want to evoke. Don’t rush the process; take your time to explore different fabrics, silhouettes, and details that speak to you. It’s also important to consider the craftsmanship behind the dress—look for garments that tell a story, where every stitch, bead, and layer is a testament to artistry and tradition. And remember, your dress should make you feel confident and beautiful in your own skin, as it is a part of the unforgettable story of your day.
What are you drawn to in bridal right now? And what would you love to see less of?
“Right now, I’m really drawn to the idea of timelessness in bridal—pieces that evoke a sense of history and artistry, but still feel fresh and relevant. I love the return of more structured, architectural silhouettes and intricate details, like baroque-inspired corsetry or delicate, hand-embroidered fabrics. There’s something magical about pieces that tell a story and feel like they’ve been passed down through generations, yet still belong to the modern bride.
As for what I’d love to see less of, I think we’re moving past trends that focus solely on minimalism or over-simplified designs. Bridal fashion should be more than just “on-trend”—it should celebrate the uniqueness of each bride and her personal story. I’d love to see less of the cookie-cutter approach and more of an embrace of individuality, with attention to craftsmanship and narrative in every design.”
