About CENTÁ
CENTÁ is an independent creative studio working at the intersection of art, food, and design. We create concepts where visual imagery tells stories, emotions set the direction, and ideas transform into unique projects and experiences.
Our team develops and fully realizes ideas for brands, events, and productions—from food styling and catering to floral arrangements, art objects, and installations made from unexpected materials. We design and bring to life inspiring spaces, paying attention to every detail and turning ordinary moments into something extraordinary.
CENTÁ was founded by Viktor Komskii and Lera Spirina. Today, the studio is based in Paris and Lisbon but operates worldwide, collaborating with leading brands. We create set designs, shape environments, and develop concepts for photoshoots, combining aesthetics, emotions, and an experimental approach. For us, creativity is not just work—it’s a way of seeing and feeling the world in a new way.
Behind The Brand
What was the initial spark for your brand, how did it all begin?
We moved to Portugal almost 5 years ago without any specific plan for CENTÁ. It took more than a year for us to communicate the idea to each other and come up with a game plan. Everything started with a flower store and a bar and developed quite fast and organically into set design, food styling, a full creative production circle later on, and cooperation with major brands. We began by creating our very first food and set design shooting just for ourselves going deep into the woods to set up a dinner, or prepping the series of crazy decorations for the CENTÁ Christmas party. We believe this passion and some kind of naivete within such projects attracted our future clients back then.
What services do you offer couples?
Creative direction, Art direction, Set design, Food styling, Floral design, Art objects.
How would you describe your aesthetic?
Aesthetic value can be incredibly versatile, often derived from seemingly ordinary and simple things. How did butter become the foundation for such a beautiful series of set decorations? Whipped and shaped into all possible forms and colors, it can become anything you want—whether it’s a rabbit or a birthday cake. I wouldn’t mind seeing egg-shaped shoes either! A little twist can bring pure fascination.
As artists, what are you inspired by at the moment in the world of weddings?
We are inspired by how weddings have become more exciting—no longer just traditional ceremonies, but opportunities to surprise everyone with beauty and unique ideas. We love that people strive for originality, and we are happy to help them achieve it.
A styling/planning tip or two you’ve learned along the way that you’d give to any couple?
We encourage couples to embrace originality and think outside the box. Don’t be afraid to explore new ideas and break away from tradition. Hire professionals who can guide you in bringing your most unexpected, yet beautiful, visions to life. The most memorable celebrations are the ones that stand out and reflect your unique style.
