About CENTÁ
CENTÁ is a multidisciplinary studio specializing in creative and artistic direction, food styling, floral design and botanical brand imagery.
Founded in 2020 by a creative couple Lera and Viktor Komskii, based in Lisbon, Portugal and operating worldwide, CENTÁ works on various projects across different disciplines. Every job for the CENTÁ team is an extremely personal journey that pulls all possible efforts into making the best version of it.
We’re proud to closely collaborate with our dear Clients from LOEWE, Zara, H&M, Stradivarius and many more brands helping them decorate their store spaces and special events, and developing set design solutions for photo and video shoots.
Private events are also a big part of our work, and it’s always a pleasure and unique experience to bring the ideas for weddings, birthdays, parties or any form of happenings to life.
Behind The Brand
What was the initial spark for your brand, how did it all begin?
We moved to Portugal almost 5 years ago without any specific plan for CENTÁ. It took more than a year for us to communicate the idea to each other and come up with a game plan. Everything started with a flower store and a bar and developed quite fast and organically into set design, food styling, a full creative production circle later on, and cooperation with major brands. We began by creating our very first food and set design shooting just for ourselves going deep into the woods to set up a dinner, or prepping the series of crazy decorations for the CENTÁ Christmas party. We believe this passion and some kind of naivete within such projects attracted our future clients back then.
What services do you offer couples?
Creative direction, food styling, compositions, flower design, bouquets, and set design.
How would you describe your aesthetic?
Aesthetic value can be incredibly versatile, often derived from seemingly ordinary and simple things. How did butter become the foundation for such a beautiful series of set decorations? Whipped and shaped into all possible forms and colors, it can become anything you want—whether it’s a rabbit or a birthday cake. I wouldn’t mind seeing egg-shaped shoes either! A little twist can bring pure fascination.
As a florist, what are you inspired by at the moment in the world of weddings?
We are not sure if our inspirations come from the world of weddings, but we highly recommend Studio Mary Lennox.
A styling/planning tip or two you’ve learned along the way that you’d give to any couple?
We recommend being more unique and unexpected, and hiring professionals who can help with design. And use Pinterest less!
