Named by CNN among the top ten best wedding venues worldwide, Château de Varennes is a luxury estate to hire for weddings, family holidays and corporate workshops. We are experts in destination weddings and we can host intimate events as well as big affairs. Located in the sunny South-Eastern part of France amidst the vineyards of Beaune in Burgundy, the property has belonged to the same family for 400 years and was recently fully remodeled to the highest standards. Many activities are offered on and off-site (cooking, enology, pool, tennis etc).

We have the outdoors, the chapel for a ceremony of up to 80 people, and the orangery.

Do you offer onsite accommodation?

We have 20 luxury bedrooms and 17 bathrooms.

What additional features and facilities does your venue offer that couples may find useful?

We are offering all-inclusive wedding packages which help couples to plan a beautiful and unique celebration, even if they live overseas and do not speak French fluently.

Our couples are usually high-net-worth individuals who are used to a luxury lifestyle. They are seeking to have a unique and meaningful celebration in France because it is a dream destination for a wedding. They are coming from all over the world (mostly US, Australia, Asia, and the UK) and they are attracted by the amazing quality of service which is offered by our historic wine region of Burgundy. The luxury industry is very strong in France and thus giving us easy access to the finest produce and the best wedding vendors.

Styling tips…

For a large wedding, we envision long tables outside covered in light-washed linens set beneath strings of fairy lights to create an elegant, enchanting atmosphere. Adorn the tables with vintage, Parisian crockery, candelabras and foliage to stay in theme with the grand Chateau. A palette of soft tones and white florals would complement the facade of the venue beautifully.
