Behind The Brand

What draws you to wedding photography?

I have a degree in graphic design, but I found that my real passion is working with and for people. Long story short, I started working in the wedding industry back in 2007 as a stylist, but photography has always been my passion. One day, almost 10 years ago, it dawned on me that photography is what I want to do until my last breath. Working at weddings, I witness how other people celebrate their love, which gives true meaning to my photography. It’s not only about creating art but also about capturing true love.

How would you describe your photography style?

A mix of modern editorial and nostalgic documentary. Sensual, cinematic, but timeless. I love to take photos of hands! Hands, like eyes, tell stories. I’m absolutely crazy about details and textures.

What inspires you creatively?

I have many sources of inspiration, mainly fashion and Renaissance paintings. It sounds like a wild mix, but I love the dynamic of fashion and the balance and calm of classical art. I also admire architecture and natural materials like marble or wood. Inspiration is everywhere, but, of course, my main character inspires me the most, which is why I shoot weddings.

What is it that makes an image magical?

My favorite photos are those that could be classified as imperfectly perfect. Little imperfections make photos alive and cinematic.

What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?

Find someone who is not only a talented photographer but also a person you click with. The photographer is like a shadow who will follow you everywhere, and it definitely has to be someone who deeply cares about the results but also feels like an old friend with a good joke up their sleeve.

Your dream location to shoot a wedding?

Scotland! I love nature, dramatic skies, and castles, of course.
