About Collections Photography
Timeless, romantic and in the moment wedding photography.
I collaborate with couples looking for something unique and with heart. I want them to look back in years to come and above else remember the genuine excitement and love they felt on that special day. My vibe is timeless, romantic and editorial filled with emotion and artistic feels.
“I capture love, the effects it can have on someone, the moment, the emotion, the story, in a timeless, elegant and effortless way.”
Behind The Brand
What draws you to wedding photography?
The joy! There’s nothing like spending time with people who are happy and in love, and have an interest in having creative imagery taken whilst having an awesome time.
How would you describe your photography style?
Romantic, editorial, timeless and in the moment.
What inspires you creatively?
Art – the shadows, lines, minimal colours with soft blushes. And people – the romance and joy.
What is it that makes an image magical?
The feeling it evokes when viewed. I aim to do that with people’s emotions, incorporating elements around me.
What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?
They need to obviously love the images but so much of the end result is based on the experience so my advice would be to select the few photographers that you resonate with and organise a call or Zoom to see if you click and are a good fit.
Your dream location to shoot a wedding?
Why we love it…
Sash Ilievski’s evocative imagery is a mosaic of raw emotion, a fierce romance and an alluring style. The Melbourne wedding photographer has an artful ability to capture the beauty and complexity that can arise from a combination of different elements or perspectives.
For the couple…
Sash is ideal for couples wanting to collaborate and bring their own creative vision and create something authentically unique.
Before inviting someone into your intimate space for one of the most memorable moments of your life, you’ll want to get to know them. As Sash explains, the connection you feel between both their work and the photographer will have lasting impacts on your final imagery.
