About Davide Bonaiti Studio
In 2013, driven by the need to deepen his artistic vision, he decides to leave the advertising agency and chooses photography as his expressive medium. After three intense years of photojournalism in various countries around the world, his focus shifts towards weddings and the world of fashion. The aesthetics of the image, storytelling, and empathetic connection become the cornerstones of his work. His photographic composition is precise and geometric, with a distinctly cinematic style and a preference for black and white. The headquarters of Davide Bonaiti Studio is located in Northern Italy
Behind The Brand
What draws you to wedding photography?
I am attracted by being able to tell, through my vision, unique and unrepeatable emotions within exclusive locations.
How would you describe your photography style?
My approach is mainly based on the relationship with people and on the idea of narrating stories and emotions through images. I am inspired by the glamor of fashion and film photography, I look for real images, without frills and artifacts. I like to be like a ghost: going unnoticed I can grasp the unexpected, the small gestures, the details. I love black and white.
What inspires you creatively?
Unexpected and unforeseen situations fascinate me. I try to let myself be carried away by what happens without planning what I will do first, I like to be surprised.
What is it that makes an image magical?
The magic of an image manifests itself spontaneously during the wedding through unique and unpredictable moments. A sudden light that filters through a window and illuminates the bride and groom, an unexpected look or a breath of wind that makes a long dress dance.
What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?
The advice I would give to couples is to carefully evaluate the photographer’s portfolio and understand his philosophy, in this way, they can be sure of obtaining representations in line with their style and expectations.
Your dream location to shoot a wedding?
I don’t have a specific location in mind, I usually prefer weddings with a glamour/fashion style. I like iconic cities like Paris, New York or London, as well as villas, castles or immaculate beaches.
