Our weddings are one-of-a-kind experiences that will evoke an emotional connection between our couples and their most distinguished guests. From ideation, discovery, to production Earth and Events’ is renowned for building and designing bespoke events from the ground up with elite hospitality always at the forefront.

Behind The Brand

What was the initial spark for your brand, how did it all begin?

I’m Alexandra Piper, the founder of Earth and Events. My journey began with a lifelong passion for hosting intentional gatherings. After orchestrating hundreds of social events and weddings around the world, I launched Earth and Events in 2020, inspired by my travels and the endless beauty of nature. I was captivated by how little intervention was needed to showcase nature’s charm, which became the foundation of my brand.

Earth and Events felt like the perfect name because most of my events are set outdoors, prioritizing botanicals and natural elements in every design while remaining environmentally conscious. My mission is to craft experiences where every detail – from start to finish – is thoughtful and meaningful, transforming events into unforgettable stories.

What services do you offer couples?

We offer both Partial and Full Wedding Planning services, with a strong focus on design for both experiences. We are eager to have a hand in assisting couples curate a wedding ambiance that reflects the unique vision and style of their dreams.

How would you describe your aesthetic?

Our aesthetic is experimental and uniquely our own. Blending elements from different styles and niches to create something refreshingly unexpected and strikingly beautiful. We aim to forge a path that feels both innovative and timeless, resulting in a clean, elevated ambiance that makes a lasting impression.

As a planner or stylist, what are you inspired by at the moment in the world of weddings?

I’m especially inspired by exaggerated fabrics, set designs, and setting ambiances with statement lighting to evoke emotion.

For instance, I’m drawn to adding unexpected shapes – like a squiggly tablescape or a circular altar – and making mismatched elements work together seamlessly. I love pairing textured fabrics with clean, minimalist florals to create a visually engaging contrast.

Outdoor weddings that add a whimsical feel to an otherwise traditional day captivate me. High fashion is also a big influence, especially when couples break from tradition – whether that’s the bride choosing not to wear white, multiple outfit changes, or embracing unique forms of self-expression through makeup, tattoos, or accessories that might not have been seen as ‘bridal’ in the past.

What would you like to see less of?

Photo booths. They are done too often and in need of a makeover. I’d love to see more elevated photo installations that integrate seamlessly with the wedding day’s aesthetic. Imagine an oversized fabric wall that feels like part of the design rather than a separate booth. These types of installations offer guests memorable, stylish photo moments that match the day’s atmosphere.

A styling/planning tip or two you’ve learned along the way that you’d give to any couple?

Invest in the details that enhance the look and feel of your day. One area of investment I recommend focusing on is the chairs – often overlooked, but they’re in almost every photo, from the ceremony to toasts and speeches. Upgraded chairs instantly bring a sense of refinement, while basic foldable chairs can feel dated and dull.

Another important investment is photography. Your photographer will capture memories you’ll cherish for generations, so choose someone whose style resonates with you, and take time to connect with them. You’ll be spending most of the day together, so finding the right fit is key!
