Behind The Brand
Describe the woman you design for…
Our bride? She is herself with her own personality, she is a dreamer and a romantic lover, she is kind and devoted. She dares to wish new perspectives. Our primary aspiration is to discover the woman behind the veil. Who is she? What does she like? What is important in her life, what is her daily routine? How does she imagine her wedding and ceremonies? How does she visualise her wedding? What will it look like? As you can see, we’re committed to getting to know our brides right down to the last detail.
Elisabeth Veil Collection places a great deal of importance on interaction and the personality and the wishes of the bride. It’s instantaneous, and a relationship of trust and goodwill is immediately established. Love is the most important, it is an integral part of the entire experience during the wedding veil making. The euphoria of the first meeting is enough to trigger the first inspiration, the first pencil strokes; nothing is left to chance, and even the most insignificant details find their place at the core of our creations.
Do you offer a custom design service? If so, how long does it take to make a custom piece?
We consider that the sooner is better, because the process will be quite long. Once the bride has her wedding dress, it is the perfect timeline! We recommend at least 4 months before the wedding. We are able to make rush orders under certain conditions.
What is your most popular style for brides?
- Traditional Calais-Caudry French lace sewing by hand.
- 3D silk flowers made by hand.
- Embroidered sentences and patterns that make sense for the bride-to-be .
What advice do you give to brides to care for their headpieces and veils?
We recommend to assess the condition of your veil and inspect it for any rips or holes. We can try to add some embroideries, flowers or lace to hide some damages. Contact us. Then get your veil cleaned by hand with a Marseille’s Soap to save any embellishment (beadwork, embroideries, appliqué…). Once cleaned, you can carefully store your veil by rolling it in his box. Store it in a cool, dry location, away from direct sunlight. Finally, re-purpose your veil and turn it into a beautiful baby crib before saving it for someone’s “something borrowed” through the generations.
