Elle is a floral designer and artist based in Seattle, Washington. She specializes in artful floral design with great care for sustainability. Elle will devote herself to bringing your vision to life. Her goal is to create events full of intentionality and imagination, while cherishing the unique tastes of her clients. People and flowers are her passion, and from the initial inquiry and all throughout the process, it is her wish to provide genuine, personal attention. She will walk alongside couples to help create an unforgettable day with love poured into each floral work of art.

Behind the Brand

What was the initial spark for your brand, how did it all begin?

Like many florists before me, I have always been drawn to the arts. I have painted, sketched and played musical instruments. But later in life, after being a stay-at-home mom for 13 years, I found flowers in a time of transition. What started as a way to process and heal, quickly became a place I flourished and grew. I experienced a timelessness, with color, shape and fragrance, while meditating on nature, I thoroughly enjoyed the beauty it had to offer. It made me wonder where flowers had been my whole life. It felt like they were waiting for me, and I came home to them. I knew I needed to take flowers as far as I could go, in whatever capacity. To my kitchen counter, or your wedding day, I just loved them, and wanted to be with them always.

What services do you offer couples?

Floral design for weddings and events.

How would you describe your aesthetic?

Intentional, whimsical and romantic with a sensical color story.

As a florist, what are you inspired by at the moment in the world of weddings?

As a florist, I think it can be a bit comical what we are inspired by! We are captured by the art of noticing, and inspiration is unfolding itself everywhere in nature because it is our medium. I feel like I could say everything, everywhere inspires. From mossy rocks, twisted stems to sunsets and moody skies. But our job is to take that inspiration and unite it to our clients. And I love that the natural and realistic aesthetic has found a place in the heart of couples.

What would you like to see less of?

I will always advocate for more intentional design and thoughtful practices that are sustainable. We need to see events as whole, including the care involved for those working so hard to make them happen. We need to take care of each other, and our planet.

A styling/planning tip or two you’ve learned along the way that you’d give to any couple?

Choose a team of vendors you can trust.  That align with your vision and values. And be sure to communicate that to them. When we feel trusted, magic happens.
