Blending tradition, nature, and Mediterranean charm, the property offers a variety of unique spaces – olive groves, pine forests, gardens, and restored stone buildings – ideal for ceremonies, banquets, and celebrations. Every corner has been thoughtfully preserved to reflect Mallorca’s authenticity and relaxed elegance. What began as a private family retreat is now a curated venue where couples can celebrate in a setting that feels both timeless and personal, surrounded by open landscapes and the quiet beauty of the island.

Behind The Brand

What was the initial spark for the property and how did it all begin?

Son Sampol is more than a 14th-century possessió – it’s the heart of our family. It has belonged to us for as long as we can remember, lovingly passed down from generation to generation. For centuries, it has been our home, our refuge, and the place where our family roots run deep.

Growing up here shaped who we are. We – Carme & Xisca – are sisters, and today, together with our family, we are the proud custodians of Son Sampol. This land taught us the value of tradition, simplicity, and connection.

In 2017 and 2021, Son Sampol became even more meaningful, when we celebrated our own weddings here – first Xisca’s, then Carme’s. That’s when we truly understood that this place, filled with so much history and love, was meant to be shared. Since then, weddings have become part of our identity.

The idea to open Son Sampol to others wasn’t born from business, but from love – from the desire to preserve our legacy while allowing others to create their own memories in this special place.

What began as a dream of self-sufficiency has grown into a heartfelt project rooted in sustainability, tradition, and hospitality. Each year, we carefully invest in improving every corner of the estate, always with the intention of making it feel like home – for us, and for every couple who chooses to say “I do” here.

At Son Sampol, we welcome you not as clients, but as part of our extended family. On your wedding day, we want you to feel what we’ve always felt here: peace, warmth, and the deep sense of being home.

What spaces do you offer for a wedding or event?

At Son Sampol, we offer a variety of unique and versatile spaces, each providing a different ambiance to suit the needs of your celebration. Whether you’re planning a grand celebration or an intimate gathering, our estate offers the perfect setting for every moment of your event.

• Es Pati (300 m²): This intimate and authentic corner of Son Sampol is surrounded by the historical charm of our traditional Mallorcan possessió. It’s a versatile space ideal for ceremonies, receptions, banquets, or enjoying music in the heart of a Mediterranean garden.
• Es Pinar (2,000 m²): A space created from love, inspired by our mother’s dream of having a pine forest at Son Sampol. This lush forest offers a breathtaking setting for ceremonies, with the serene backdrop of towering pines and the romantic shade that has flourished over four decades.
• Es Pinaret (300 m²): Nestled around the majestic olive tree at the heart of the estate, Es Pinaret is perfect for intimate ceremonies or a relaxed chill-out area, offering a romantic and enchanting atmosphere.
• Sa Piscina (200 m²): Our beautifully integrated pool area is an elegant spot for cocktails or a refreshing dinner by the water. It can also host a fun and intimate “pool party,” seamlessly blending with the estate’s surroundings.
• Es Jardí (900 m²): This vast natural grass meadow is ideal for your wedding banquet. Spacious, magical, and comfortable, it offers a perfect setting for a sunset celebration before the stars take over the night.
• Es Capell (250 m² Bedouin Tent): Designed as a versatile, weatherproof space, Es Capell provides shelter from sun or rain, making it an excellent option for ensuring your celebration continues smoothly, no matter the weather. The space is surrounded by lemon and olive trees, enhancing its charm. The additional Es Capellet (150 m²) complements the area for extra capacity.
• Es Magatzem (90 m²): The ultimate party space, Es Magatzem is where the celebration truly comes alive. With air-conditioning, a small reception area, and ample room to dance, it’s the perfect place for your post-banquet party.
• Es Celler (125 m²): A unique, high-ceilinged space, Es Celler is a historic site originally used for wine production. It has been lovingly restored and is now perfect for intimate ceremonies or special events, adding a touch of authenticity and tradition to your celebration.

How many guests can you cater for?

At Son Sampol, we host weddings of all sizes, from intimate celebrations with just 20 guests to grand events of up to 200. Our diverse selection of spaces ensures that every event, no matter the scale, is perfectly tailored to your needs.
