Behind The Brand

What was the initial spark for the property and how did it all begin?

Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay opened in June 1993, making it one of Bali’s original luxury resorts. Designed by Dale Keller & Associates, it was later updated in 2017 by Jaya International. It’s known for embracing both Balinese design and island personality: its traditional thatched-roof villas combine with warm hospitality. It has a sister property in Ubud, the riverfront Four Seasons Sayan.

What spaces do you offer for a wedding or event?

From ocean-edge Gili Jimbaran island to Bali’s Longest Water Wedding Aisle (57 metres), the resort promises a range of private outdoor and indoor venues for mesmerising Bali weddings. Choose your vibe from beachfront, poolside, residence villas, restaurants and more spread across 14 hectares of tropical gardens cascading down to the turquoise ocean.

How many guests can you cater for?

Whether it’s a romantic dinner for two or beachfront cocktails for 250, Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay offers a variety of stunning spaces for every kind of wedding and event. Celebrate on pristine sands just steps from the waves at Coconut Grove with up to 210 guests for a banquet and 250 guests for a reception. Say ‘I do’ on Gili Jimbaran, your own private island for up to 120 guests complete with lush gardens and a sandy cove. Set amidst vibrant greenery, the Waterfall Garden is great for smaller gatherings of up to 30 guests. Or go all out at the resort’s legendary beachfront restaurant Sundara – either a buy-out for up to 200 guests or choose from various spaces, including an open-air mezzanine that can host up to 100 for a banquet and 140 for a reception. Breezy poolside ambiance with a view at Alu (120 guests for banquet and 220 for reception), a banquet for 182 at vibrant Taman Wantilan, or traditional vibes at thatched-roof Jepun Sari Pavilion for 80 to 100 add further options. Or channel regal feels on the sea-view lawn of the Imperial Villa, perfect for between 60 to 100 guests.

What is it that makes your property magic?

Seamless integration with nature

The architecture and landscaping blend harmoniously with the surroundings. Think open-air spaces, the scent of tropical flowers, landscaped gardens, the sound of the ocean, and design that respects the local aesthetic. This creates a feeling of being immersed in paradise.

Exceptional and intuitive service

It’s the little details – the anticipating of needs, the genuine warmth of the staff, and the personalized attention – that can make guests feel truly cared for and create a sense of effortless ease.

Creating unique and memorable moments

We pride ourselves on experiences that go beyond the ordinary – private dinners on the beach at sunset, Balinese Blessings, immersive cultural activities, or breathtaking views from the villas or event spaces.

The blend of luxury and authenticity

We’re passionate about offering a luxurious experience that is also rooted in the local culture and traditions.
