Behind The Brand

What was the initial spark for your brand, how did it all begin?

I have always been a curious, restless soul with a deep sensitivity. Since childhood, I remember my mother as the perfect hostess, dreaming up themes, decorations, floral arrangements and menus for family gatherings and celebrations with friends. As I grew older, I gradually involved myself in the process until it became something I truly loved—a ritual I carried into my own celebrations. People always told me I had a natural talent for it, and I will be forever grateful to have had the opportunity to turn my passion into my profession, leading to the creation of Fresh and Wood.

My love for experimenting with unexpected materials, textures and elements not traditionally seen at weddings comes from my father. He was a construction expert, and I grew up surrounded by blueprints, interior projects, materials and a world of textures and colors unlike any other.

Since I started my journey working on large corporate events, I longed for a space where I could give free rein to my ideas and sensitivity. A place that felt more personal, more intimate. Somewhere I could bring joy to others while staying true to myself.

And I found a path—one that led me to what is now Fresh and Wood. A path that would help me develop my true purpose: guiding couples through the journey of planning and designing their unique wedding. Since then, almost 10 years later, I have been crafting moments, creating happiness for couples who trust me to bring their bespoke, intimate, and unforgettable wedding to life.

What services do you offer couples?

We are specialists in creating unforgettable moments and designing unique experiences for Destination couples whether in Spain or wherever they take us.

Our most sought-after service, the Full Planning — HERA, is where we not only take care of every detail but also create and design the entire aesthetic of the wedding, from the décor to the atmosphere, ensuring every element is a reflection of the couple’s unique story. With seamless coordination, thoughtfully curated moments and artfully crafted design, it is a bespoke experience, meticulously planned to be nothing less than extraordinary, allowing couples to fully immerse themselves in the joy of their celebration without a single worry.

For those dreaming of breathtaking aesthetics, we offer the Event Design and Styling — MIMOSA, where we transform visions into reality, weaving beauty into every detail with our expert touch. We transform spaces into atmospheres filled with beauty, harmony and emotion.

Beyond weddings, we also carve out space to create for others—shaping content and art direction for brands, as well as curating select corporate events that align with the essence of Fresh and Wood. With artistry and intention, we weave aesthetics and storytelling into experiences that linger in memory, ephemeral yet timeless.

How would you describe your aesthetic?

Fresh and Wood aesthetic is natural, organic and refined, where every detail feels harmonious and authentic. It’s timeless, while still embracing trends in a way that remains effortless. It’s deeply sensitive, delicate and ethereal, like a whisper of emotion woven into every moment. It’s a story, a reflection of the couple’s journey, told through textures, colors and light. Every element is chosen with care, creating something meaningful and seamless, where love is expressed in its purest form. It encompasses so much more—depth, meaning, and emotion.

As a planner or stylist, what are you inspired by at the moment in the world of weddings?

Nature, architecture and interior design have always been a source of inspiration for me, just like every expression of art and creativity. Music, cinema, fashion shows, the flavors of a dish, traveling and visiting other places around the world…Even the colors, textures and shapes of the place where a couple chooses to marry whisper ideas waiting to unfold.

For me, creativity has no single starting point; it flourishes from everything around us. An open mind and a curious heart turn even the smallest details into sparks of inspiration, transforming the ordinary into something extraordinary.

What would you like to see less of?

I often think about how we can reduce the impact we create at events — whether through waste, excess or other imbalances while easing the pressure to follow every trend that arises, which can sometimes overshadow the true essence of why two people choose to walk through life together. What I strive to do in each of my projects, is to find the delicate balance between the beauty of the ephemeral and being mindful of the impact it leaves behind.

A styling/planning tip or two you’ve learned along the way that you’d give to any couple?

One of the best pieces of advice I could offer is that they must feel a deep connection to everything that will happen on their wedding day, because in the end, it’s their wedding and their story, no matter the trends or the outside noise just them being surrounded by the ones they love the most.

I would also encourage the couple to focus on the elements such as the details, decor and atmosphere that will leave a lasting impression on their guests, creating memories that endure. And though it may not sound as poetic, always have a Plan B, so that time, that one unpredictable force, doesn’t take away from the magic of the moment.

And last, but certainly not least—indeed, for me, the most important—trust in the vendors and professionals you hire, allowing their expertise to guide every detail, ensuring everything flows effortlessly, and together, creating a wedding that is truly meaningful and unforgettable.
