Behind The Brand

What draws you to wedding photography?

Human connection is ultimately what draws me to weddings and why I love to capture them. It’s the joy and happiness, emotions and connections that wedding stories bring. I am interested in the people, their vibe and their tribe. That sense of a fleeting moment and narrative captured forever.

Weddings also indulge my love of fashion and florals, I love a good dose of femininity. I will notice the way the fabric on your dress flows and I will always appreciate a good pair of shoes!

How would you describe your photography style?

My photographic style is a blend of relaxed documentary which aims to capture the real emotion of your day, coupled with a mix of beautiful fine art, and images that stand the test of time.

I love creating editorial elegant images that give a sense of your story, character, and depth. I want to capture the vibe, whether that is with beautifully dreamy soft light or rich deep dark shadows in the most relaxed unobtrusive way.

What inspires you creatively?

I am always inspired by a sense of place and what makes us human. Whether it’s through fashion, art, landscape, travel, or interiors.  I also live by the sea so the sense of wonder of the open horizon is never too far away.

What is it that makes an image magical?

It’s that perfect blend of light, emotion, and depth.

What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?

Always choose someone’s work who resonates with your personal style and vision first and foremost.

Guests always assume I am a friend of the couple, which is always a great compliment. So, I would also say find someone you feel comfortable with and who is a great fit. Someone who will bring the best energy and has great intuition.

Your dream location to shoot a wedding?

I am always drawn to the people and the best light before anything else. However, I am a sucker for Italy.
