The iconic British brand, Ghost London, launched four decades ago and has since become an established fashion house producing women's contemporary clothing. Maintaining a contemporary vintage feel, Ghost's collections are known for their feminine aesthetic, modern silhouettes and signature garment dyed pieces.

The Ghost London customer is confident in herself and her style and has strong attention to quality and detail. We understand that women do not want complication, so we design our garments to reflect this, combining effortless silhouettes and beautiful prints. All our garments are easy to wear, to care for, and can be worn by women of all ages and shapes. Every design is a celebration of women.

Behind The Brand

What was the initial spark for your brand, how did it all begin?

Ghost is a London fashion label which was founded in 1984 by Tanya Sarne. Throughout the 80s and 90s Ghost was central to the London cool scene, pretty, floaty clothing worn by A list actresses and models like Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss.

How would you describe your aesthetic?

Contemporary and feminine with a vintage feel, in premium fabrics like viscose, crepes, satin and georgettes.

What inspires you creatively?

Art, vintage photography, and nature.

How can bridesmaid dresses complement the bride’s look?

I would consider the style of your wedding dress and select your bridesmaid dresses that coordinate with your dress. The bridesmaid dresses should have a slight nod to the look and feel of your wedding dress.

What are you drawn to in bridal right now? And what would you love to see less of?

A refined cleaner, minimalist feel. Simplicity is the key look. Would love to see less of the big lace dresses.

What advice can you give to brides when it comes to bridesmaids?

Every bridesmaid will be a different shape and size, so it can be tricky to please everyone. I would try and choose a style that they will all love and will feel comfortable wearing all day.
