What draws you to wedding photography?

I am drawn to wedding photography because it’s a perfect blend of art, storytelling, fashion, and human connection. It’s not just about capturing beautiful images – it’s about freezing moments that are full of emotion, joy, and significance. Each wedding is unique, and each couple brings their own personality, traditions, and energy. Capturing those fleeting moments and preserving them as memories for years to come is incredibly powerful.

How would you describe your photography style?

My photography style blends documentary storytelling with a high-end editorial touch. I love capturing the raw, natural moments as they unfold throughout the day – those fleeting, behind-the-scenes moments you might not even notice – while also guiding couples into stunning, editorial-style shots that highlight the beauty and emotion of the occasion. I use a mix of digital and film photography because I’m passionate about the timeless, nostalgic quality film offers. There’s something about the texture and mood of film that digital just can’t replicate, so I weave it into the day wherever possible to give the images a unique, timeless quality.

What inspires you creatively?

As a photographer, I’m inspired by a mix of fashion, travel, and nature. Fashion offers endless textures, colors, and styles that I love capturing. While travel exposes me to new cultures and stunning landscapes. Nature, with its changing light and beauty, provides the perfect backdrop to highlight both fashion and the world around us. Together, these elements give me endless creative possibilities to tell unique stories through my photos.

What is it that makes an image magical?

To me an image becomes magical when it captures a moment that feels both timeless and full of emotion. It’s when the light, composition, and subject come together in a way that resonates deeply, evoking a sense of wonder or connection. Magic in a photograph often happens when there’s an unexpected element – like the play of shadow and light, a fleeting expression, or a natural scene that feels surreal.

What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?

When choosing a wedding photographer, look for someone whose style matches your vision for the day. Check their portfolio to see if their work captures the mood and feel you want. Once you find the right photographer, trust them to bring your vision to life. Let go of the need to control every detail – trust that they’ll capture the moments that matter most. By doing so, you’ll be able to enjoy the day knowing your memories are in good hands.
