HONOR is a high end bridal and eveningwear design brand, exclusively made in New York City, described as traditionally beautiful and feminine but also unexpected and modern. 

Our unwavering commitment to producing the highest quality garments has distinguished our brand and garnered the attention of notables such as Oprah Winfrey, Kirsten Dunst, Tracee Ellis Ross, Taylor Swift, Alison Sudol, Jennifer Lopez and others.

Core to our mission is a dedication to bringing industry back to Manhattan’s historic garment district, respect for the art of garment making and fair treatment of skilled artisans. 

Giovanna Randall, HONOR’s founder and creative director, established the brand’s identity through feminine silhouettes, intricate detailing and extraordinary fabrics.

Behind The Brand

What was the spark for beginning your brand?

I have been a clothing designer (at least in spirit) for as long as I can remember, but I was in my late twenties when I felt secure enough about my vision to launch HONOR. It has always been about strength in femininity and honoring the spirit of women I admire through clothing that transcends the ordinary.

What inspires you creatively?

I’m inspired by anything that sparks and awakens strong emotions in me. Often movies or visual art, but sometimes textures or music.

A favorite quote or piece of advice that inspires your creative work?

“I’m not going to limit myself just because people won’t accept the fact that I can do something else.”

What advice can you give to brides when shopping for their dress?

If you are interested in a dress and you’re trying it on, give yourself a moment alone with it to decide how you feel about it before welcoming the opinions of others, however beloved those people are to you.

What are you drawn to in bridal right now? And what would you love to see less of?

I love when designers make the crossover from what is happening in ready to wear collections and apply it to bridal. I would love to see less makeup, extremely polished hair, and gowns that are very grand but very boring and expected.
