What rooms/spaces do you have available for a wedding?

Weddings in the main Jacks Retreat house: the entry foyer & downstairs area of the main Jacks Retreat house with outdoor covered terraces and long lawns facing the lake and mountains is available for a wedding. This is the beautiful black steel, schist stone, and glass atrium space, adjoining the open planned kitchen area, with terraces and lawns.

Elopement weddings in the Jacks Retreat Studio and Private Garden: wedding ceremonies are held on the Jacks Retreat studio garden with lakefront and mountain views, with time for drinks and canapes in the studio garden and covered terrace.

How many people can each of these cater for?

Weddings in the main Jacks Retreat house: Day venue hire allows a maximum of 180 guests for a ceremony only followed by time for drinks and canapes, with the reception held elsewhere.  Day and Night venue hire allows a maximum of 40 guests for a ceremony and seated reception dinner.

Elopement weddings in the Jacks Retreat Studio and Private Garden: allow a maximum of 10 guests at the ceremony with time for drinks and canapes after.

Do you offer onsite accommodation?

Yes, the Jacks Retreat private studio, terrace, and garden offer accommodation for a couple with a super king bed, lounge area, kitchenette, ensuite bathroom, outdoor covered terrace with open wood fire looking over its own private garden with stunning lakefront and mountain views.

What additional features and facilities does your venue offer that couples may find useful?

Helicopter access on the property for wedding photos or scenic tours.  Note: a limited number of landings are permitted on the property per year.

Jacks Retreat is located next to the 7th hole of one of the most spectacular golf courses in the world, an 18 hole par 72 championship course offering golfers of any caliber a challenging and unforgettable experience.

We allow a limited number of weddings at our main Jacks Retreat house per year to keep our venue unique and special.

We do allow large weddings with the couples hiring a marquee on the lawn, but we prefer small intimate beautifully curated weddings.

Jacks Retreat is the perfect spot for elopements, intimate weddings, surprise proposals, anniversary’s, honeymoons, and couples wanting to escape into a breath-taking and relaxing piece of paradise.
