Behind the Brand

What was the initial spark for your brand, how did it all begin?

I first landed in Ibiza back in 2011, after having studied Events Management in London and wanting to pursue a career in high end luxury weddings and events in the Mediterranean. After dedicating a decade as the ‘Head of Events’ at a very well-established agency on the island, it was time to create my own company, reflecting my signature Scandinavian style and service. Thus, JC Bespoke Events was born, and has since gained recognition as a leading luxury event planning company in Ibiza and beyond.

What services do you offer couples?

We offer fully tailored wedding and event planning. From luxurious intimate weddings, to elaborate lavish private parties, our stylish celebrations are managed to perfection.

How would you describe your aesthetic?

We effortlessly integrate a timeless, elegant, and sophisticated style into each event that we organise. We draw inspiration from fashion, luxury travel, architecture, and interior design to create one-of-a-kind, exceptional celebrations with the highest level of personal service. We pride ourselves on creating extraordinary, fashionable, and fun events with the guest experience in focus.

As a planner or stylist, what are you inspired by at the moment in the world of weddings?

I’m always inspired by my client’s backgrounds and cultures, and being able to find new ways of reflecting their personalities in the weddings and events that we create. I love to come up with new ways of pushing the boundaries, inspiring our clients and their guests with thoughtful details, and unexpected elements that surprise and thrill.

What would you like to see less of?

Couples getting too wrapped up in what they are and are not supposed to do. There are no rules! We thrive on exploring new ideas and creating new twists on traditions. Nothing is set in stone, stop thinking so much about what your mom says you should do, or how your cousins’ wedding was – be bold and dare to be different!

A styling/planning tip or two you’ve learned along the way that you’d give to any couple?

Trust your gut (and your planner), and always consider the overall guest experience.
