Behind The Brand

What draws you to wedding photography?

Weddings are so much more creative now, couples can be more free to be authentically themselves keeping traditions that feel true to them and creating their own. I also love that wedding photography has also got so much more creative too with more of an editorial feel whilst still feeling natural and documenting all the little moments and details.

How would you describe your photography style?

I would describe my photography style as authentic storytelling, candid yet editorial with a passion for analogue photography.

What inspires you creatively?

I’m inspired by photography as an art, I’m always wanting to elevate my work. I’m inspired by travel, film, books, music, art and the people I surround myself with.

What is it that makes an image magical?

I think the storytelling to an image makes it magical. I see each wedding as a collaboration with the couple. I really work with each couple getting to know them and their vision for the day and bringing that vision to life, with my own creative eye, guidance and ideas.

What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?

I would just say to follow your intuition when selecting your wedding photographer, get to know the photographer and how they work, set up a call or meet for coffee, don’t be afraid to ask all the questions and ask to see full galleries from real weddings.

Your dream location to shoot a wedding?

I’ve been lucky enough to have photographed weddings in some of my dream locations in Italy and the South of France and have weddings coming up this year in Morocco, Greece and Portugal which is a dream for me. Some other dream locations to shoot a wedding would be Milos, Paris, New York, Vegas, Joshua Tree, Mexico, Australia.
