What draws you to wedding photography?

I love how every wedding is so beautifully unique to every couple I have the pleasure to work with. I know how incredibly important it is to have every moment captured and how honored I am to witness and be a part of such a significant and intimate day in someone’s life.

These pictures will hold years of memories and family generations for people to look back at. I always remember this importance to every wedding that I approach.

How would you describe your photography style?

My style is best described as effortlessly editorial with a documentary-story telling feel. With warm tones and timeless black and whites shown throughout your wedding gallery.

What inspires you creatively?

Creatively, I find inspiration from many sources, from movies, to music, travel, design and fashion.

I started my journey into photography through travel and I have had the pleasure to travel all across the world and documenting it through my lens.

General life experience has inspired me through time and studying, working and living in many countries across the world has taught me so much as an artist.

I always find inspiration through slower moments in life as well and these moments always give me that creative boost and energized feeling to create art.

What is it that makes an image magical?

I think there are many reasons as to what makes an image magical to everyone. One image can make someone feel something completely different to another, and that’s what makes wedding photography so special. It’s creating a story so specific to two people in the world and documenting their love, where they are and who they have chosen to share these memories with – that’s what makes an image magical.

What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?

It’s important to choose a photographer that you not only love for their art, but you feel comfortable with, as they will be with you throughout your wedding day. It’s great to talk before the wedding and to make sure that the photographer aligns with your vision for the day as well.

Your dream location to shoot a wedding?

There are so many bucket list locations, but I would love to photograph a wedding in Japan during cherry blossom season.
