Behind The Brand

What draws you to wedding photography?

Weddings are truly a feast for the senses: you have the most intentional, one-of-a-kind celebration of love, fashion, design, environment, and story. So many emotions are being experienced, memories being made, and I have the greatest honor of being a witness to it all – it’s intoxicating and rewarding.

How would you describe your photography style?

Intuitive, timeless, and editorial.

What inspires you creatively?

Fashion, design, travel, connection, music, films. More nuanced? Drapery, tonality, a sensory experience, humanity at its core – getting to witness true vulnerability.

What is it that makes an image magical?

To put it simply: when you can see yourselves in it. I’ve found that the viewer reacts the most to an image they can see themselves in, an image of an event or moment that they themselves have experienced – it’s as if the photographer is holding a mirror into their own life. Sometimes it’s the most mundane, overlooked moment that they never deemed beautiful or worthy before, and sometimes it can be all about light, composition, or emotion.

What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?

My best advice is to hire someone who aligns with you both, personally and artistically. You want a photographer whom you can trust, who will allow you to be fully present on your wedding day, and who you feel comfortable with. Definitely schedule a discovery call, view full wedding galleries, and ensure you are a good fit, as they will be with you more than any other vendor.

Your dream location to shoot a wedding?

Greece, Japan, or any private villa in France, Italy, Mexico, you name it.

I am very inspired by minimalism, clean lines, Japanese Architecture, as well as transforming an unassuming, untraditional environment into somewhere you can wed.
