About Leandra Creative Co. Photography

I’m a NYC & Europe-based photographer who believes photos look and feel different when they’re crafted from the heart and lens of a photographer who takes the time to know your story.

I believe artistic heirlooms are created through meaningful imagery. In my eyes, wedding photography is more than just pictures; it’s an immersive way to preserve life’s best moments. I blend a discerning editorial eye with a love of candid, unfiltered, documentary moments that often get missed but deserve to be held close—like the way your new spouse holds grandma's weathered hands, or the way he looks at you when you're not looking.

I’m passionate about building real relationships with my couples and creating a fun, comfortable experience that allows you to be fully present. With a background in video production and psychology, I’ve been trained to help people feel at ease, anticipate the unexpected, and lead with intention. Attention to detail is my love language, and your trust means everything to me—I don’t take this partnership lightly. I’m committed to giving you the care and thoughtfulness I believe every couple deserves during their wedding season.

Your love is your legacy—it’s art. Let’s photograph it that way. I can’t wait to get to know you and your favorite people!

Behind The Brand

What draws you to wedding photography?

Wedding photography is more than just capturing a celebration—it’s about preserving a couple’s legacy. I’m drawn to the fleeting, in-between moments that might otherwise go unnoticed: the way your new spouse holds your grandmother’s weathered hands, the FaceTime call from a loved one who couldn’t make it, or the way they look at you when you’re not looking. These moments are the scaffolding of a story.

My background has always been deeply rooted in the synchronicities and delight of human relationships—raised by a therapist and an entrepreneur, I’ve come to understand the beauty of nuance, the power of storytelling, and the importance of presence – photography is my favorite way of honoring that. It’s about crafting something as timeless as it is tangible, something that two hands can hold onto, forever.

How would you describe your photography style?

A caring declaration of the human experience. A harmonious blend of editorial elegance and candid intimacy. To me good art is refined yet deeply emotive— I aim for cinematic without feeling staged. I offer thoughtful direction and lots of encouragement, but discerning enough to know when to step back and let the moment unfold naturally. No stiff posing, but nothing is missed. I approach weddings as an artistic observer, attuned to the energy and emotions of the day. It’s about capturing these once in a lifetime stories, that we’ve been privileged to help tell in a way that feels like it’s meant to be hung up & admired while remaining effortless and true to each couple.

What inspires you creatively?

Love and legacy. Getting to know people. My parents wedding album. Soft light in the winter and rain in the summer. The glances people thought no one saw. Texture & architecture. Other art forms like oil paintings. Animals, freedom, humor.

What is it that makes an image magical?

Coming from a background in video production, I’ve always been drawn to the way movement can transform an image from something static to something deeply felt. It’s the difference between a pretty picture and a poignant moment—the subtle sway of a dress in the wind, a quiet inhale before a kiss, fingertips grazing as two people reach for each other. Movement carries emotion, drawing the viewer in and making them feel like they’re part of the story rather than just observing it.

But movement alone isn’t enough. Meaning is what creates magic. A beautiful image becomes unforgettable when it holds depth—when it captures a feeling, a relationship, or a fleeting moment that can never be recreated. It’s the laughter between vows, the way someone looks at their partner when they think no one is watching, the raw, unscripted in-between moments that reveal the soul of an experience.

I love beauty and aesthetics as much as the next photographer, but true magic doesn’t just come from light, composition, or styling—it’s the culmination of anticipation and observation, the way movement and meaning intertwine to create something deeper. It’s not just about how a moment looks but how it feels, how it lingers in someone’s memory long after they’ve seen the image. That’s the power of storytelling through photography.

What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?

Do you trust them? Do you like them enough to spend all day or a full weekend with them? Do you believe them to be an artist even if they didn’t have a camera in their hand? Answer yes to all of these and you’ve found a perfect fit.

Your dream location to shoot a wedding?

I’ve always wanted to witness a celebration on the Venice Simplon Orient Express. The Paris to Portofino route has always intrigued me but honestly, they all seem like pure bliss. I’ve had this idea of an intimate wedding where the day starts in one iconic European city with all guests getting onboard and partying until the next city with the ceremony onboard might be a logistical nightmare, BUT if any ambitious planners see this and want to collaborate I’m all ears, I also recently got engaged so my personal dreams might be seeping in here too.

Editor’s Notes

Why we love it…

A sweep of a veil in motion, the soft tension of an exhale, the way light folds across a quiet moment. All of the imagery by Leandra Creative Co. feels suspended in time—equal parts refined and raw, echoing the emotion of the day with a cinematic pulse. Her work moves, laced with texture, mood, and a rare sensitivity.

For the couple…

Made for the romantics. For those drawn to storytelling that feels instinctual and elevated. Leandra’s work strips away noise, leaving you with visuals that are striking, soulful, and deeply felt.
