Behind the Brand

What draws you to wedding photography?

Love — in a very simple, elegant and non-flashy way. We are a couple ourselves and from the beginning we had very clear that we wanted to capture love in a way that made sense to us: non-traditionally, because that’s the way we know love. Emotions can also be reflected through architecture, nature, light, textures, movement, adventures; through timeless compositions and giving moments time and space to unfold. Weddings combine so many beautiful elements: people, memories, architecture, details, food, feelings — as architects ourselves we approach wedding photography composing and exploring with all of these layers into every single shot.

How would you describe your photography style?

Editorial and minimalistic yet warm and organic. We love combining the best out of these worlds: visually elevating and exploring all of the elements while staying present and connected with every moment. There’s beauty in the simplicity with the right amount of a punch that can definitely make the difference.

What inspires you creatively?

Life: movement, change, humanity, nature. We love meaning and intention behind all things.

What is it that makes an image magical?

We believe an image can be magical when it’s all planned, well designed and there was a whole process to achieve the vision, but also an image can be magical by simply the meaning behind of it and by capturing a moment that just happened without any expectations, even when it’s not perfect or with the most astounding composition. On the day of you have 360 degrees of possibilities every 5 seconds and months prior to the wedding, with a dreamy venue and beautiful outfits chosen you have even more possibilities to plan ahead, get inspired and develop a vision. What will determine which way and what you shoot will be your connection, with that particular moment, or inspiring element or place. We stay open to the process.

What advice would you give couples when selecting their wedding photographer?

Connection. There should be a connection about the way both parts see and live life. Do you have similar values? Do you see beauty in a similar way? Do you have a similar rhythm? Your wedding photographer will select the memories and will frame the story, therefore you have to make sure the vision and values are aligned.

Your dream location to shoot a wedding?

Anywhere with history, beautiful architecture and meaning.
